... I have nothing but respect for Jumper1 and his opinion. I merely think he is wrong in his evaluation of SWHS. You and and he are both attesting to support of SWHS but yet have I read anything complimentary about this year's team. You know that alot of our Kids read BGP and it would be encouraging to read something positive instead of " I am with SWHS but here is why I think they will lose by 3 TDs." All based upon the assumption that because we graduated 18 seniors. Had you guys researched the issue a little farther you would have learned that Rockcastle also were hit hard by graduation. With all respect to Rock and it's Kids and fine coaching staff that the pre-season high ranking is based upon last years great success and the fact that RC is always tough. Instead of giving us the benefit of doubt as any true supporter would do, we are continuely talked down. Moral support is a big thing for Kids. I think the support that we receive from you guys is lip-service, IMHO...

This thread was originated for discussion and comments on the Ray Correll Bowl. It appears to me that the majority of discussion has been directed towards SWHS. Thats all good but I would like to hear something more about Somerset, Puslaski Co., and Rockcastle Co. Ever the Somerset posters prefer to talk about SWHS. PC is non-existent except MM. Rockcastle seems to have one poster these days. I suggest all you other fans jump in and contribute or have you been told to :sssh: by your Coaches. WE SWHS posters take positions and we are regular contributors in our School's support on this forum. Come on out and play. It is time to get down!...:thumb:

I feel very confident in our senior corners Kodi Brooks and Logan Ellis. Again you point of view differs from mine. I have seen these guys for years and you make a determination based upon last nights scrimmage. I guess the proof is in the pudding...Suggesting our defense is inadequate also makes me chuckle. ...If you are basing your bold prediction on last nights scrimmage, you are in for a big surprise. Three TD underdog is laughable. Considering 2 of our defensive Varsity players did not dress last night and our QB was not 100%. Several other players less than 100% and Coach and his Staff are also pretty sly about what they show all the scouts during scrimmage. If you only knew. If you paid close attention you would have noticed there was no pressure to put out. Did you think we were going to show ALL against a team that had 4-6 varsity players out for various reasons. Coach A and Coach Thompson are not rookies in this game of football and maybe you are just wishful thinking...

Warriors win 28-20. 7th grade(B team) edged out a narrow victory by scoring a TD with 2 minutes left in the game and finalized by scoring 2 point conversion, Warriors 8-0...:ylsuper:

... To the best of my knowledge only Zac Lovins suffered any major injury. He popped that bad shoulder out again. He suffered some serious pain until it eased back in. He is a tough Kid. Danny Locke was missing due to sickness he had all week. Duck was out for the same/simular reason. TT took a serious blow to right middle finger last night off Zabe's helmet. He started but was not 100%. Adam got quite a few reps in QB as did Taylor Mote... I did not see you so I figured you could not make it. PM me and maybe will can meet up tomorrow as I have a busy day ahead in Somerset...

...Without 6 starters would definitely effect your team. #22 is my pick.for the Wayne player of the game. He is very quick.I also think #4 will be a plus after he learns a little more field generalship. When you get those 6 starters back on the field I am sure you all will be a handful. Best of luck. Your hospitality was outstanding and the food you people served us was delicious. I personally thank you all for such a good night even though some of your guns were on the sideline. We normally do it around the 30...I have seen many teams have simuliar gatherings. You are the first I have heard make complaint. We as a group have an unwritten policy to be hospitible at home and respectful away...That is the good sportsmanship taught to our Kids by us...

As there will be no reserved seating at Somerset, you are cordially invited to seat with us. You have the above mentioned scrimmage with us tonight. We are the only team in the Ray Correll Bowl that you are not facing in regular season. Also, if the crowd is normal for the Bowl, there will be tight seating...As far as Coach Thompson getting reserved seating from the Somerset , that obviously is a funny...:laugh:

Hey MM, all things have meaning. The Warrior Family meeting on the field is symbolic of the closeness that we all have with the program. You are the first to call it goofy. Goofyness is in the eye of the beholder. We do not see it that way. It has been a long time since I saw Matt Barber, but I am sure he was there back in the day. I assumed the bigger guy was his brother. I may be mistaken but something in my archives told me to thro their names out there. Never-the -less, lets just refer to last night as ole Keemo's memory does sometime fluxuate like the old fish story where the fish gets bigger each time you tell the story. We have always had good student/athlete attendance at this little ditty. Last night was no exception...By the way, a lot of the SWHS alumni have went on and are well grounded also. Disipline is a valuable tool in life. Our short time existence has produced Doctos, Lawyers, professionals of all fields, and career Military men. I find it hard not to gloat more...
