This thread was started out with the same question it end with. Somerset Admistration reminds me the old "who's on 1st skit". Is anyone in charge? Is Mercer just going to take it? Is Somerset gonna get straightened out? Who's on 2nd? WOW :confused:

The facts are as follows...Head Coach resigns, then he hires back in...Recently Burmuda grass was sowed.Some say it will be ready and others say it won't...Mercer County scheduled to play Somerset@ Somerset then Somerset is not playing them. Now Somerset is playing Metcalfe Co. @ Metcalfe Co....My concern is that Somerset is scheduled The Ray Correll Bowl for August 24. Southwestern is sheduled to play Rockcastle County in the first game of the season. Is the field to be ready or not? Is the Bowl to go on if the grass is not full. Not much info coming out of the Somerset Camp...

My Referee friends tell me the same thing. I think it depends upon your position on the field...:thumb:

Not at all. Play the OT period as regulation. Just as if it was another quarter. Time runs out. Game ends. If tied, play another OT period...:thumb:

I would like to see the TIE GAME Overtime procedure changed. A 8-10 minute OT with a coin toss, at least 1 time out,and regulation rules...

You started your post with a reprimand of others for not following the Thread Topic. Then you began your lambasting of others. Kind of inciting isn't it? Being you are a pro-Somerset poster, than maybe you or Jumperdad could answer the originator of this thread's question, Is the game between Mercer Co. and Somerset on a Friday or Saturday? If you do not know, then would you kindly check with your AD?:thumb:

Mercer County will play Southwestern Sept. 21 @ SWHS. They (Mercer) will also face Pulaski County, as they are in the newly formed District 7 (5-A) along with SWHS, Pulaski, Lincoln, and S. Laurel...:thumb:

I have seen those 2 or 3 bad apples you referred to here in Southern Ky. I have seen "Home Cooking" served up several times. Most refs do a fair job here, but the problem does exists...:thumb:

To stay in compliance with this Thread Topic. What are some coaches doing? To flagrantly lie in a Football Program to thousands of readers(kids included) that you, as a Football Coach did play High School Football. What a deception. Players look up to their Coaches and respect them until they are proved unworthy of such respect. No disrespect to SHS, but what is going on there?
