Bullitt East's field had the crown redone and was resprigged with Bermuda as there was hardly any left after the last game of the season. The grass is starting to grow back in (I checked on it yesterday morning) but it needs several consecutive days of sunshine along with the watering it's been getting before it starts to really take off.

6A Graves Co. has almost completed a new field on their campus...Im not sure how many seats it holds, but i don't think it is as big as War Memorial, the field Mayfield and Graves Co. have been sharing. However, they have done quite a nice job on Graves' campus, and those student athletes have great facilities.

Walton-Verona will field a JV & Freshman team this season and they have a new artificial field to play on. The field looks awesome, best of luck for the Bearcats as they progress toward a building a program from scratch.

Where is the WV field located?

From Northern KY take I-71 South, Verona exit then make a left back across the interstate, the field is on the left at the Verona Sports Complex (kinda behind the Chevron Station)

 

 

I would think once they are granted permission by KHSAA to field a Varsity team, they will more than likely be in 2A.
