Well I think they need to get better. They are the 3rd best team in their county.

Pulaski should be in alot better shape this year. They will be returning a great defensive back/ offensive threat in Winston Hines. Now that the QB Muse has some experiance and was tossed into the fire he should be able to lead the team. I hope Coach Hines gets the team turned around!

They can do nothing but improve from last year! They will be in a tough district, hopefully this team can begin to mold and play as a unit.

I think one of the keys for Pulaski this year is more team speed, they seemed to play hard last year but seemed a step slow.

Any Maroons out there care to wage in because I feel like the lone fan out here in BG land?

C'mon gang you can let them know where your heart is!

I wish the Maroons well this year except for August 24th of course. I look for the Maroons to be vastly improved in all areas. I say a 5-6 win season.

...Hey MM, I believe you are the Lone Maroon. It appears that not many PC supporters are out here. I have noticed very weak support on this and other local forums. Fan support seems to have really deminished since the days of Cole Draughn and Johnny Denham (2003). Are the fans just giving up? Thats a shame if they have just dropped the Kids. Last year PC played SWHS their final 2 games of the season. Though they lost, they played their hearts out. Could Johnny Hines be playing possum? Could be...:D

I agree, but there will be a rise during and after this year. Cole Draughn was a show on his own and with Tyler Sexton as his main target it was easy to see how much fun they were to watch. The talent level is on the rise and people will show more interest with success. Coach Hines has made some tough decisions over the past two years and his payoff will come by next year at the latest. The Maroons will be a tough team to handle but are they ready to be consistent winners? Jury is out on that one. My guess with their schedule they are a 5-5 team at best this year.....but watch out! I hope I'm wrong and they rise to the top.

I think PC will rebound from a pair of 2-9 seasons to somewhere around 4-7 or 5-6. They've got a lot of young talent on the team and should be headed in the right direction. One thing though. You mention Cole Draughn's days at PC. Does Coach Hines realize he's been gone for, what 4 years now? I've yet to read an interview with him where he doesn't mention Draughn. He needs to focus on the kids he's got and quit living in the past--there's some good kids on his team and Cole ain't coming back.

Is Ronnie Claiborne going to make any noise a PC this season?...:sssh:

What ever happened to HighHopes, I think that he's a Pulaski Fan.

Does anyone know if Pulaski Co. has a scrimmage this week or not? If so when and where?
