... Thanks, It was a good game until our QB got the concussion in the 3rd qtr. That is no excuse except that he is a team leader and when he got injured it seemed to take the momentum away and Rock capitalized and actually played batter ball all the way around. The Rockets played Rockcastle smash mouth football as always. It was a great night of football. We will regroup and fix a few things this week and get ready to battle Danville. By the way, our QB TT will be okay. His Mother rushed him to our local Hosp.and he was diagnosed with a concussion and dehydration. Get well soon TT. We did have bright spots in the game and at this point it is a learning experience...Our Kids are let down and we will get their chins up and they truly are proud to be a Warrior. Congradulations go out to all you Rockcastle supporters and the powerful Rocket Football Team...Hope to see you again next year...:thumb:

... The trophys that we produce are quality athletes whom go on to the next level. We are more proud of our overall results. Last year alone we have 6 graduates whom are now practicing at the college level. 2 more who had offers but chose to study only.(Mike JonesQB and Dustin Brumley All State lineman). We produce those kind of stats year after year. That is what we as a school hold most valueable. As far as the inter-county games go, anything goes when Pulaski County Kids meet. You can only put 11 on the field at a time. I am getting a little tired of the same ole little school spin. Have you guys got some sort of "little" complex. Grow up and play some big teams is what I suggest. Get you Kids scholarships. Produce the quality student/athlete, not the ones that get banned from the practice field, but ones that come back year after year to help and support...

"I see" said the blind man. Garrard and Casey are ALOT closer than Danville and Jackson is ALOT closer than Corbin. (NOT). Somehow I still feel that there is more too it...:confused:

... Am I missing something here? How did Somerset CHOOSE to play up? As far as moving up goes, didn't SWHS and PC move up from 3-A to 5-A? Not by choice. So how did Somerset CHOOSE to move up?...and why would you do that?...

... The sky is the limit. At the rate our population is growing. I would like to see a Bowl whereas we all played different opponents. When we go at it, it is much like the Civil War. I would really like to see our communitys together rather than pitting brother against brother and neighbor against neighbor. To me that would be the ultimate Somerset /Pulaski County scenerio...

...You know that when our Kids go at it here in Pulaski County that it is always "Katie, bar the door" It has always been that way most of the time irregardless of school size or records. These Kids all know one another and they play twice as hard. I love it, and wish we had another Pulaski team in the mix. Maybe, soon enough...Also I did see the scores, but better yet I have lived thru those games, and at all levels for 12 years...

...Sic em boy... Rockcastle County is a perennial powerhouse with far better credentials than Somerset. Rock's successes are against other powerhouses of a higher class. Repeatedly Rockcastle ranks right up there against anybody. Bring out those school records and big State wins Rockcastleraiders and show these Somerset posters what a real lenghty successful program you all have gotten over there...

... No disrespect intended there, If I was throwing out disrespect then I would bring up last year's Ray Correll Bowl, SWHS / SHS. But that is all in the past. We have forgotten about that rivalry game, haven't we? Actually we are looking forward to next years game. If I remember, you guys had a great QB that delivered those tosses to the great Jon Cole then. Still I do not want to open up old hurting wounds. Somerset should kick PC all over the field if they are the same team they were last year. I do expect PC to be a much improved team and Somerset not to be as good. No disrespect to either team...We also have some athletes that could possibly be MVPs also, and possibly the best players on the field tomorrow night...

... With all the secrecy shrouding the Somerset/Pulaski game, who knows. The SWHS/Rockcastle game will be the game to watch. Coach Larkey and his Rockets are not used to losing. Coach A has reloaded once again after losing 18 seniors. Look for a hard hitting, smash mouth football game. It will be what high school football is all about. I truly believe that after the first game, the fans will be shock and awed by the Southwestern Warriors... :flame:

... Not being a jumper I did not realize that they had left. They did do a good job. I thought I heard them both last year, at least part of the time during last years Ray Correll Bowl. But if you say no I guess you would know. All you Jumpers sound alike to me...:lol: ...Nevertheless you guys do a good job too. All we want is a good called game. As stated, if you all need any help from us, do not hesitate...We're the new school across town in Pulaski County. SWHS...:thumb:

It is my humble opinion that music will not be an issue to the many fans that will be attending the Ray Correll Bowl. The excitement that will fill the air is going to be more than enough. The Box announcers will need the PA at top quality and availibility to present the many announcements that will be made to inform and control the croud of fans. Statman(Bruce) and Bellou will do a great job. I know all Somerset people will be engrossed in the 2nd game, but please don't forget the 2 quality teams we have going at it in the 1st game. I would like to inform all concerned people that SWHS stands ready to offer any assistance needed from us to help the Somerset personel in the administration of the Bowl concerning issues that may arise concerning us or any other issue. Out adult supervision on the sideline have the capability of relaying or collecting needed info and/or data without the constant interruption of our Head Coaches and Staff.
