I have a friend that lives in Trotwood and the last time I talked with him he stated he had a couple grandsons playing ball and I was wondering if they had contined playing. Their last name would be " Page".:thumb:

Unique rivalry between Somerset, Pulaski Co., and Southwestern. The schools are in the same county. The Kids all know one another. It is more of a "King of the hill" rivalry then one of bitterness. The cool thing about it is that if one team gets knocked out of the play-offs, then you will see the players supporting existing Pulaski Co. teams...:thumb:

I Boo the refs when they need it. I Boo the opposing Coach(es) when they veer left of center. But I never or would ever Boo the Kids...:thumb:

The Southwestern Warriors will be there...

Why would anyone challenge a poster to a Bench Lifting duel with Head Coach Hensley to determine if the weigh lifting program is good or bad? Isn't it the Kids that should be competing? Am I missing something?

My prayer goes out for Justin Wakefield. It is tragic when any of our young are hurt in an automobile accident. Best wishes and hoping for a speedy recovery...

Great post! Those Coaches whom have that ego problem will never have a good program. When someone blames the Kids and injurys for their inadequatcys then I look at the Source. Not all who coach are as good as they think they are(IMO).

I expect the Rockcastle vs Southwestern@ the Ray Correll Bowl to be a very exciting game. First game of the season for both. They have played one another(at all levels) for quite a few years now. There is always good, clean competition. Alot of young players for both teams will steping into Varsity positions for the first time. Yes, Lee Renfro is gone on to Ohio U. But I hate to be the first to tell you that his brother Johnson Renfro is on this team.:sssh:

Now, that would be a game worth seeing if it was to happen. I hope so. :ylsuper:

I have seen John Cole of Somerset play. He is dynamic. He will not be contained and has great hands. After he catches the ball is when he really shines. No arm tackling John. He will flat burn ya:flame: Heres hoping that John has a stand-out year:thumb:

Observed the Intra-squad Spring Scrimage thursday. I was impressed with the Team as a whole. The Defense was aggressive in pursuit and down-right inspiring. Several Warriors play baseball and were unavailable. I beleive the Warriors will be in the hunt for another District title.:ylsuper:
