Raisor is not playing baseball anymore..

Carter Noah with the win.. Devin Johnson with a homerun and a triple..

Brady Brooks..

Saw on PBR that Drew Rom (Highlands) LP is ranked #98 in the projected MLB Draft Rankings.. If you get a chance to see him pitch do so, he’s quite impressive..

There were also 4 or 5 MLB scouts at the game. You don’t see that very much at a high school game.. Pretty Cool!!

I heard he was having Tommy John..

Travis Smith (Walton) RHP/OF/INF#2 starter on varsity up to 83mph on mound. He also has a decent stick with some power. Plays for 15u CBC Black in Summer. Trent Adkins (Simon Kenton) INF/OF Very good stick, hits for power and average, plays JV. Plays for 15u CBC Black in the summer. Austin Henschen ( Beechwood ) LHP/OF /1B with good stuff on the mound, not overpowering but hits his spots. Gap to gap hitter, controls the bat well. Plays JV and is all around player. Plays for 15u CBC Black for summer ball. Logan Stevenson ( Campbell Co.) RHP throws in the low 80's with good secondary pitches. I'm assuming he will split time between JV/Varsity.. Plays for 16u ATY in summer. Will Rolf (Beechwood) OF Will is super fast and can run down a ton of balls in the outfield. He started JV as an 8th grader last year and played some varsity also. He will start off on JV due to an injury and could get moved up for defensive purposes and running. Plays for 15u Rampage Elite in the summer.

Congrats to the Beechwood 8th grade who beat IHM Cincy to win the St. Agnes Tournament. Mitchell Riley was the tournament MVP..

I heard Beechwood 8th grade put it to Blessed Sacrament 8th last night. Mitchell Riley is starting to come into his own. If he gets as big as he supposed to look out..

Coach Gray's style is you will work hard and be held accountable.. Pretty simple if you ask me..

Heard BSS beat Holy Trinity in the 8th grade final by 4 or 5 points..

Yes

The only kids that aren't on the roster that would of made an impact are Wilder and Mescher.. Mescher decided to run track and Wilder decided not to play..

CovCath vs Newport in the finals with CovCath winning by at least 20pts..

This one was never in doubt. Draud had 28pts in about 2 quarters of play..

Highlands struggles with ball pressure. Vinson is in there because he is the best ball handler on the team. If Zach Barth payed varsity he would be the 2nd best ball handler as an 8th grader.

Zoie Barth did not play and I think backups played the whole 1st quarter.

I totally agree about Hergott not sure about Noe..

Beechwood has 5 frosh that play up. Draud plays varsity only, Rolf played frosh, jv and a couple varsity before getting hurt. Downton plays frosh, jv and sits varsity. Decker plays frosh and jv. Lloyd plays frosh and jv also..

Beechwood lost in semi by 5pts.

I totally agree. I will say the camps are good if they actually send you a personal letter and it’s a place that you would actually like to go to school. This is especially helpful early in the process for Frosh and Sophomores to get on their radar early. Otherwise it is pretty much a money grab..

Won by 5pts..

Beechwood was also missing arguably their 2nd best frosh behind Scotty in Will Rolf. Rolf broke his wrist about 3 weeks ago. He had 35 earlier in the year against Highlands. The kid can score..
