What a game to be at!!! Southwestern jumped out on top and was way ahead at the half. PC put together a great run in the third to make it a lot closer. The forth was up for grabs. Two teams with a lot of basketball talent and the will to win. SW on top in this one could have went either way at any time. I was glad to see so many people out and at the game the crowd was tremendous for both sides. The student section for both sides was GREAT!!!! One had to go out with a loss. Look forward to the next time each one battle again.................LTW.

Can anyone update the info for tickets and gametime and where tickets can be bought and how much???? Thanks in advance...LTW. The reason is I had someone go by SL and they didn't have tickets and also thought the game was there this weekend.......................????

Charger, no one is saying that your not favored in this game but remember this is playoff times. What everyone is saying that your team hasn't had any close games this season and that if this games comes down to being very close Southwestern could and should pull it out because of game history this year. If Bullitt East wants to win this game they had better get on top by a good margin because the longer we hang around and the score being close the better our odds of winning go up. I'm going out on a limb here and say Southwestern goes on top and makes Bullitt East play catch up all night. And The Sultan is Way off...............LTW has spoken

I wouldn't be challanging these posters on here they know football and they know that we have played some really good teams this year were in everyone of them and had a chance to win most of them. The Highlands game we might have been in the first half but after that no. We blew out a very good SL team that is still in the playoffs. They meaning Louisville have already offered Minton, they came to watch our TE-McWhorter and LB-Viers play. The other two schools came to watch the same two and I believe our safety-Wright.

There were several recruiters at the Southwestern vs North Bullitt game this past Friday. Louisville, Western, Eastern, and a couple more.They had several players on their list from Southwestern and North Bullitt.

I know it hard for you guys to get non-district games since you have already 8 games to play but to make a statement like that is obsurd. Last year we had Bell Co.,Pulaski Co., and Rockcastle Co. this year we had Highlands, Boyle Co., and Danvillle. All of these teams each year are capable of making it to the Regional finals each year and even on to the state finals. Now Boyle Co. has made it rough to get out of this district let alone out of this region. You can't make statments like that without going into greater detail. Good luck this Friday, we're coming and we got a score to settle with you guys. May the best team win and may everyone come out injury free...............LTW.

North Bullitt and Southwestern game has to be up there as well. Everyone standing and cheering for both clubs on both sides of the field for what seemed to be the whole last qtr. Southwestern was down by 6 with 8 minutes left in the game put together a 81 yard drive to tie the game. When we lined up for the extra point I saw people turning around because they just couldn't watch. It was the most excitment I've every been around at a High School Football game. I want to thank the Southwestern fans tonight because the bleachers were full and they got a super game. North Bullitt played a heck of a game and a big :thumb: to them. It's bad some one had to lose but that why they play the games

This game airs today at 3pm on local channel 8. HH I also noticed that you picked North Bullitt to win on your staying alive pick so much for sticking up for the local team....Come on now!!

Commando, you are correct it will be North Bullitt they lost to Bullitt East in double OT tonight. With Central winning over Doss. What a first round opponet for Southwestern. McWhorter seemed to be doing good after the game. Needs to ice down his upper leg and I'm sure he wouldn't miss next week for anything. We need to perpare well this up comming week for one of the better teams in that district. This is just the begining and I would like to see us come out fired up and as coach Lewis said after the game TCOB (take care of business) Have a safe week everyone. On a more sad note I was disappointed that their were not more fans in the seats for Pulaski Co. I was amazed that the Southwestern fans out numberd them 3 to 1. Last year the game was busting out everywhere come on guys you got to come and see them play knowing it might be their last High School Football game. I want to wish each senior a fond far well and I hope your football days were great and it was a pleasure to see you lay it out on the field and give it on every play for the last four years. Matt McWhorter TE/DE Southwestern, Matt and Ben were at UC together at one of UC games a couple of weeks ago. Matt has also made unofficial visits to Ohio U, EKU, and WKU. Also has been invited to a couple of schools out west.

From all of us here in Pulaski Co., Southwestern, and Somerset hope all goes well and each one comes out O.K. Our deepest sympthy for the family who lost their son at an early age, Gods' speed to him. LTW

The player along with their team don't go to LOUISVILLE. Because all of them were will to take this chance and lost!!!

If it were me and I had to make the at the begining of the season I would have waited for the ruling. If I had to make one now, if you go into a iffy situation with you eyes open and the door gets slamed in you face then thats life in the real world. They should not be rewarded for taking a chance and losing. Thats not real or is it fair for all players that did follow the rules.

Didn't the whole team know at the start that this may happen. They all knew and all the parents and all the coachs. So don't hand that out!!!!

Tell that to all the seniors that played by the rules and one team didn't and still get rewarded. Some punishment should come down for this like in the real world when you don't go by the rules!!!!

This game doesn't have to be played Saturday. They need to wait and make it fair for all involved!!!

I feel that all the teams in the playoffs that Highlands beat should all have a chance at the title and Highlands should be left out. If you had a kid on any of the teams that Highlands won over and it was his senior year and last game would you feel it was OK for the other team to have a player that wasn't suppose to play.
