  1. Hey Dadcat59, Give me a call. I printed a copy and I can give you one.
  2. Well I was going to post another but the file is to large?????? Look back thru this thread. It's already posted I think. Look back to post #132 in this thread.
  3. Amen to that. Next year will definately be different for me. With my oldest graduating this year my nerves will not be as tore up next year. I'm just glad his senior year went as well as it did. Probably could. My dad died several years ago. Just kidding. Gotcha. Kind of mean though wasn't it.
  4. I'll give you that. But I think that the Boyd Co loss did us more good than it did them. It was a wake up call for us early in the season. And boy did we go on a tear after that. Let's put all of this behind us and look at the facts. Both teams had a good year and both deserve all the accolades. As far as who would beat who. That is something that neither one of will know but trust me I won't lose any sleep over it. As for the Boyd Co game. I had a senior on this years Russell team and I believe in talking with him that they all would like to strap on the gear and have another go at Boyd Co.
  5. Just to clarify something. The poster that you were refering to is a Belry fan. He has no dog in this fight he was just trying to explain our strength of schedule to you. I do love how you picked the one game we lost. To AAA school no less. I think i'll give you the rest of our games to look at. Aug 19, '05 Open Russell - Aug 26, '05 Greenup County Russell 25 - 6 (W) Sep 2, '05 Ashland Blazer Russell 21 - 13 (W) Sep 9, '05 Boyd County Boyd County 14 - 33 (L) Sep 16, '05 Powell County Powell County 42 - 12 (W) Sep 23, '05 Morgan County Morgan County 35 - 14 (W) Sep 30, '05 West Carter Russell 54 - 20 (W) Oct 7, '05 Lewis County Russell 55 - 7 (W) Oct 14, '05 Estill County Estill County 69 - 22 (W) Oct 21, '05 East Carter East Carter 27 - 7 (W) Oct 28, '05 Fleming County Russell 42 - 21 (W) Nov 4, '05 Henry County Russell 59 - 29 (W) Nov 11, '05 Mercer County Russell 41 - 26 (W) Nov 18, '05 Newport Newport 34 - 33 (W) (overtime) Nov 25, '05 Belfry Russell 20 - 14 (W) Dec 3, '05 Owensboro Catholic 27 - 14 (W) Just look at some of the regular season score. Alot of the opponents points came on second team. Because Coach does not believe in running up the score.
  6. Why is it that some people cannot congratulate a team on a good season, But set around and wonder what if. Trust me I DO NOT go to sleep at night saying thank god that we will never know. I have enough confidence to say that the game would be a dog fight and neither team would dominate. But you can think what you will because you are right. We will never know. But you can go on thinking what you want.
  7. You need to get a grip on reality. That was a saying NOT name calling. As for Stats and what not I could quote them all evening. But what does that matter. All the matchup look good on paper but the game is played ON THE FIELD. Just another tid bit. OC beat Ft Campbell. Who to that point had absolutely crushed their opponents. We beat OC. So what does that mean. Does that mean that NCC would have crushed Ft. Campbell as well. Move on to something that actually matters because it won't happen.
  8.   Sorry Alice. Wonderland is Closed. Man that comment sounds a lot like some of the OC fans before the OC/Russell game. But we proved all of them wrong.
  9. That's allright. The bottom line is that Russell is the AA state champs and NCC is the A state champs. We will never know what the outcome would be because it won't happen. But rest assured NCC would be in for a dog fight. I'm not saying who would win. But on paper Mercer, Newport, Belfry and OC were supposed to beat Russell. You can see my point about the numbers. It just all looks good on paper. :thumb:
  10. And you know this how??? I suppose you are a player. Please!!!! Numbers mean nothing. Just because one team beat another means nothing. That's why these boys play on Friday and we argue it here on the internet.
  11. Does anyone have any information as to who to contact to get a copy of the AA State Championship game for 2005?
  12. Well down here in Russell we have a JFL league in place. I think we start the little ones in flag football at 5. Then when they hit 7 they move up to full contact. From 7-10 they play on the same team. 7-8 year olds make up the "B" team and the 9-10 make up the "A" team. After that they move up by grades. We have a sixth grade, seventh grade, eighth grade and Freshman teams before moving on to Varsity ball. Effectively a youngster could have 8 years of experience before moving to varsity ball. Hope that's the kind of information you were looking for.
  13. I think of those 7 they played both ways. I think there were 2 other that started 1 way on O and D respectively. And we only had 11 seniors.
  14. Here's a strange bit of trivia for you. The only 2 teams to have beaten OC were both RED DEVILS!!!!!!! :fire: :fire: :fire: :fire:
  15. I agree about the interior line. But I always enjoy the up close action shots..... Of anyone Great shots and Thanks for sharing them with us. :thumb:
  16. Thanks a bunch. That just proves my point.
  17. #53. He's the one carrying the trophy in the picture I posted. That's kind of a joke with the wife and I . Someone gave us a disc of I think the Newport game and he was on the ground in about 75% of the pictures. We always ask him home can he be tired? All he does is lay on the ground.
  18. That is true. I was there to witness all of the festivities. Great thing to do for a great man. :thumb:
  19. Da-Man. Thanks for the great pics. I'm sure if you had any of my sons he would be on the ground. That seems to be the only pictures I see of him.
  20. This pretty well sums it up.
  21. That's too funny. I actually bought him make-up remover for after the games because he was having such a problem getting it off.
  22. I don't know about a convoy but I am going to be there and leave at 10:00 with the tour bus. Anyone else is welcome to show up and leave with us. :thumb:
  23. Well I just returned from the big send off for the Russell team. They had a parade around all of the schools so that the kids could wish them well. Hope everyone has a safe trip and I'll see you all Saturday. :thumb:
  24. I do stand corrected. According to my wife there are more like 60ish. But I understand what you are saying. We do have several that play on special teams that do not see alot of PT in a game.
  25. That definately is one of those things that make you go HMMMMMM. :thumb: I do know that of the 9 that go both ways I think 7 are seniors. We only have 11 seniors on this years team and 2 of them are now injured. I know this does not answer the question. Just providing a little information.
