  1. Their offense being healthy gives their defense some breathing room. BG # 5 Chris Johnson also had a great night. He was very explosive.
  2. BG's center Aric Johnson, OLB George Bowra, and MLB Tucker Jackson were out the 2nd half with injuries. The Purples have really been bitten by the injury bug. It was a pretty ugly game by the Purps, and you have to wonder if they would have faired better with all varsity starters. Heat was a factor again for both sides, but St. X's depth and Glasser's efficient exploitation of it certainly contributes to their success.
  3. What's Bowling Green going to do at QB this year. I think this position is a concern for them. They never seem to develope as strongly on the offensive side of the ball as they do defensively. Hoptown has a lot of talent returning as well, and will be strong contenders in the West.
  4. Congratulations to Coach Wallace and the Bowling Green High School football team on a great season :ylsuper:
  5. Lex Cath was an excellent team, and they had a very good game plan. Not sure what the outcome would be in best out of 3, but that BG team that played Sat. was not the BG that played all year. 7 fumbles, 3 personal fouls. I think the wheels came off with the Anthony Davis fumble. Bad call, he was down, in my opinion. If BG maintaned possesion there, I wonder... Then it seemed every thing that could go wrong did. Hibbet never fumbles, the MLB got hurt in the second quarter, 2 of those personal fouls were very questionable. (not on the DE, that was stupid by him) I know Lex Cath plays on turf, but BG doesn't...does it make any difference?
  6. Hopkinsville has a monster back that some repute is better than Mr. Anderson. Bowling Green's weak district tends to make them soft heading in to play-offs. They didn't look very dominating against Paducah Tilghman.
