I think its more cause NKY people are only familiar with Cincy teams and there dominance. But when it comes down to it OH is great all around. Top 5 football state in the U.S.

The Trotwood line is really gonna tough to handle.. like I said before they go for about 6-2/6-5 250-270.. and there blocking for a guy they say is the high school equivalent of Reggie Bush (big time hommerism there lol)... and a Penn State signee.

I would be surprised if any HHS lineman is bigger than any Trot lineman.

First off probably what everyone is thinking... and I try to be fair in assessing any team. Cincy St X IMO is not the #1 team in the country. They are top 25 but not #1. They play together as a team very well. They have exceptional team speed especially on D. Offense: VERY balanced. They love to run a lot of motion runs, slot passes, screen passes, and will air it out. QB #10 is very accurate and has great poise. RB # 8 (Ashley went down early with an ankle). RB #21 went down in the 3rd quarter with an ankle. RB #41 is a power back more of a full back WR #88 is a STUD. He is gonna give teams problems. He's probably 6'3 or 6' and is very fast. Great route runner.. he's built similar to Nick Sheffield. Otther WR's are good.. they all run great routes and love to use the slot guy. KR/PR #4 is very dangerous I was very surprised with him. D is fast and move to the ball quickly. Winton Woods had no passing game what-so-ever so I didn't get to see the secondary. Wish I could see Trinity before this game I would have a great idea of who would win I bet. Winton Woods is like a Ballard or Henry Clay since i'm sure nobody knows who they are. I have a few pictures of St X's offensive formations of any Trinity fans wants to see them but I am SURE they are not Guru like. :lol:

This is not a terrible loss. LaSalle would do this to anyone in NKY more than likely.

I believe they are II, they are not I. Both teams made the playoffs last year and both lost in the first round I believe. But Trotwood is LOADED this year. 7 D-1 players they have who have signed thus far.

Yes they are... I know sometimes people will post scores when a KY team is playing the team next week. Gives the Highlands people a brief review on them.

This is the score I am hearing from up state..... (This is Highlands next opponent). From what I have seen on them they have a line like Henry Clay did back in the late 90 early 2000's. Trotwoods RB is commited to Penn State. They had a WR going to Purdue and there TE is going to Michigan and there QB is going to Cincinnati. Birds better come to play!

From what I have heard St X is all around better. I will find out here in about 30 mins.

Fitzgerald I was most impressed with last night. But where does he stack up.. he doesn't look like a Grover he looks more like that 45 they had a few years back but I haven't been able to keep up that much with them.

If Ryle is #2 in NKY it's gonna be that kinda year for NKY football I guess. They had a decent-good rushing attack. Bad-average passing game. Overall team speed couldn't keep up with HHS. And there defense can not make open field tackles. If Conner holds onto the ball this could have been about a 55-62 - 7-14 game.

And that is the point i've been trying to make for 20 mins now when I said they don't have the same kinda studs from the past. Those other teams could have played with anyone in KY and most teams in Cincy. But I agree I think HHS will be strong in KY this year. I just don't know what kinda competition they will face in December. If there are loaded up Boyle teams and LexCath teams HHS will have to step it up a notch.

And I hope they do win the championship I like HHS. I don't know what other kind of competition they face in there division this year. If the competition is fierce they will have to play a great season. I think you are agreeing they don't have the talent of 2001, or 2004.

I personally thought Ryle looked terrible. They looked like Boone Co trying to throw passes in the late 90's. Trotwood will give us more info on HHS from what I am hearing. I don't know much about them but they sound good. I know if HHS tried to stack up with Cincy St X or Elder this year they would probably get manhandled. Just from first impression I don't see this being an elite HHS team, but they look good. And by all means im sure they are a LEGIT 3A contender.

Before you go off on a rampage i'm gonna calm you down. HHS is well known to be pretty much one of the top teams in NKY. I feel again they will be this year. But Ryle did not have the personel to expose them like other really good teams will.
