A dark day would have a silver lining. It's been almost a decade since I've had the day after thanksgiving off. That might be a nice change of pace.

I'm guessing it will be gametime. It's been awfully windy up here in NKY. It will be hard to keep the hair in place. I'm guessing a bad hair day will put gt down for the count.

Russell is in Class AA, they play Mercer Co. this week.

Ugly game. CovCath didn't play very well. One of HC's touchdowns came on a fumbled punt return where Sutton may or may not have been down (it could have been called either way with little argument). The Colonels will have to get out of "conservative mode" and cut down on stupid mistakes if they want to get past LexCath on Friday.

Are we allowed to talk about that one, people may or may not have been blinded on that hit. :lol: :lol: :lol: The hardest I saw personally was at Beechwood in a game between Male and Highlands. On a punt return, a guy from Male completely destroyed a guy from Highlands on a comeback block. The after the hit antics by both sides left a lot to be desired, but the hit itself was as vicious as I've seen in a High School game.

All Mitchell had was an injunction. Everyone knew this had to be resolved at somepoint. The timing stinks for Highlands, but courts have more important things to deal with. Coach Smith doesn't need to be making any statements. This issue is between Highlands, the courts and the KHSAA. All Chuck Smith has to do is prepare his team to take the field Saturday, Mike Mitchell or no Mike Mitchell.
