Pendleton's Loss to Mason--Good or Bad??
Davis's defense and rebounding was missed more than his shooting. He was always the 5th option on the offensive end. He is 6'4" with a 6'8" reach and can bag around on the boards. His long reach also helps alter shots. Plus PC has another five fouls to give, and makes their bench deeper. TD can only help get this team back on track. Having Davis out I believe will only help PC. We have four players getting a lot more playing time for the last 3 weeks. Two of these player would not have seen much time at all if it had not been for his absence. PC can go 9 deep if they need to. I believe this loss with help our team be more focused. There are 6 seniors on this team and they know what it takes to win. Go PC Wildcats Good luck in the Districts

Pendleton's Loss to Mason--Good or Bad??
Middleton may have not started, but if he was hobbled he wouldn't have been in the game. A player who has been out awhile typically does not start on his return out of respect to the player who has filled in for him. Davis played less then 3 minutes and never touched the ball when he was in the game. He only came in to give a player a breather. The 2 guys combined that filled in for him did not even come close to Davis's stats. Any PC fans knows since Davis has been out there has been a difference on Offense and Defense.

Mason Co. Senior Night!!
They done it for PC, season before last when Lofton was a Senior. It is a nice touch and Mason Co. is a class act.

Mason Co. vs. Bracken Co. 39th District Tourny
Mason wins. but wait we all thought this about Bishop Brossart 2 years ago. Who knows what Coach Hammonds has up his sleeve. Good luck to the Polar Bears. I still have a little ice in my veins.

Congrats to MC. They where the best team on the floor last night. I am a big fan of playing in the the Fieldhouse, but I think since they have went back to the session games like last year that Montgomery Co can handle the crowed. Camel1 has a point about the new arena in Northern KY. Not sure what the seating capacity is but it is in Campbell Co. which has teams in the 10th Region.

Your not fooling anyone asking about Elliot. It you where trying to point out that Elliott has made a huge difference then why not just say so. You know Elliott has been at PC for 2 years, also. I have seen to many of your post to know what your intentions are. Why do you even feel a need to be posting in this thread? It has nothing to do with you. Every post you made in this thread has been a jab at PC. I am guessing because there is nothing good going on in the BB threads since they have lost 6 in a row. I don't want to hear who they lost to I already know. I have read every thread this year that they have lost or won in, and I did not have the need to post only to wish them good luck in the All A. Sometimes my 10th Region friend it might just be nice if you read and not post in our thread if you haven't seen the game. Your first post quote "Guessing this game was at Pendleton??" referring to the fouls committed. You are on here every day, and knew where that game was played. Use a little class like your BB friend Mustang. Let us PC fans enjoy our time at the top. We don't get it very often.

I didn't start the foul complaint. Check post #16 by Your Daddy that is were it started. You are right on the game being called pretty evenly until the end. FC got some bad brakes(If that is what you want to call it. I call it desperation.) because they where down, and had to over play on defense which turned into fouls. The kid that was 0-8 shot good enough to bet your JV(Leading scorer). For this kid to go 0-8 is a fluke. He did shoot 6 times in the game and was fouled on 4 of them. OK I concede we had Home Court advantage. Good luck to FC in the 11th.

Best Defender in NKY?
Pat "The Beast" Elliott is a great defender, but anyone who has watched Pendleton Co. enough knows Jon Elrod is the best defender for PC. He always draws the assignment of guarding the opposing teams best 1 thru 4 player.

I think we will have to wait until Friday to find out for sure.

:thumb: and Elliott's points were with a lot of double team defense. I give credit to Franklin they came to play. They had some pretty good shooters last night except at the charity stripe.

I wasn't sure what Dustin had, so I didn't post it. I love how fans think that number of fouls committed equal to number of fouls shot. Some fans never take into consideration of intentional fouls at the end of the game. Those will add up fast especially when in the double bonus or you hit the front end of a 1 and 1. PC starters fouls commented Elrod-5 Mains-4 Elliott-4 Bishop-4 Belcher-3 20 fouls comment just by the starters and we had the Home court advantage. Go figure.

Pat"The Beast" Elliot. In the end he does get the job done. He always finds a way.

This team going 10-12 deep is very deceiving because at least 4 of them were off the JV team. Our JV team beat their JV. We could pull a least 5 more players off our bench to match this number. That would have made us 13 deep. FC had 3 JV players in the game at the same time. All they did at that time was foul. I know playing a lot of players might be a good game plan against inferior teams, but PC is well conditioned to play with 6-7 players baring foul trouble. Saying you can good 10-12 deep, but your numbers drop of terribly is not a deep team.JMO

Most of PCs foul shots were 2 shot fouls(1-3 shot foul) being fouled in the act of shooting. FC fouls were 1 and 1 which they usually missed on the front end. You need to check on how many fouls were committed not fouls shot. Plus FC was intentionally fouling at the end of the game when PC was in double bonus. It takes 6 fouls to put you to the line. Unless it is a shooting foul. So when PC is fouling on the floor FC did not get to shoot. Most of PC fouls were on the floor. FC was in bonus in both halves. FC had at least 9-10 non-shooting fouls. PC was in foul trouble all night. 1 starter fouled out, 2 others with 4, and 1 with 3. A lot of FCs foul were commented by their subs from the JV team. I guess FC was just lucky that PC had a bad free throw shooting night. For PC to miss 17 fouls shots is a fluke. We had 1 player who was 0-8 and that doesn't happen very often. If PC had home court advantage the game would not have been this close. 4/5ths of our players being in foul trouble is not home court advantage.

Yes it was. PC's Elrod also fouled out. Elliot and Mains had 4 fouls each, and Belcher had three for PC.

10th Region All-Region Team
Elrod got off to a slow start this season with a stress fracture in his foot, but he has turned on as of late. He is doing it on the defensive end as well as the offensive end. He is asked to guard the other teams best every game, and is getting it done.

10th Region All-Region Team
I would take John Elrod over a few of the players on the list. :ylsuper:

I like Knowles, but I think Pat Elliot(the senior) is the POY this season in the 10th. I believe Knowles and Miller will battle it out next season.

Pendleton Co vs Franklin Co. 2/21
I didn't see this thread started anywhere. I think maybe most PC fans have looked past this one to Mason Co. I hope our players haven't. I don't know much about Franklin Co. I have heard they start 2 players at 6'7", and they just beat a pretty descent Madison Central team. Has anyone got any insight on Franklin Co. they would like to share?
