Went through the process to get our state tournament tickets refunded. Have not heard nothing from KHSAA. Wish they would send me an email stating my refund is being processed.

How can they call off state tourneys for the larger crowds but schools are still in session?

Knowing nothing about the new gym, your parking people told me to go through the pass gate for the top level and I had to walk the steps down to the scorers table. I did not know there was a bottom level entrance. By the time I got there I was dead. I wondered why the elevator was so far away from the gate but it was close to the front entrance. Second, they told me there was no exits to the outside to the right of the scorers table. If a fire started does everybody on the bottom level has to go through the front entrance. That could be a problem. Third, the video boards were nice but we're only used for introductions. During the entire game, the boards ran ads. Put some live stats up there and it would be much better. Overall very nice and better when I know my way around.

I wish they would do away with the rotating officials. That was Julian Tackett's idea.

Even with the foul situation Mason had every chance to win the game. Mason last three possessions were a double dribble, missed wide open lay up and a wide open missed three out of the corner. We had our chances but just was not meant to be. 12 losses this year and 6 by one point.

Tale of two halfs. Fouls first half were on Montgomery. Mason played the whole second quarter with Their two studs on the bench and in the bonus. Mason never took advantage as they were out scored 11-8. As often happens, referees talk at halftime and the fouls go the other way in the second half. Fouls were 8 to 1 mid way in the third quarter. Montgomery shot 10 free throws in the fourth before Mason shot one.

Did Thomas make All Tournament Team?

No way you let Brossart shoot a game tying three with a foul to give and then foul and put them at the line. A critical error and lack of foul shooting costs Robertson.

That is a little more than just a home court advantage. When held at Mason we just come and play. As I have said in the past, playing on your home court is an advantage but not near what you think. If it is, Mason would win every year. Beat team wins 90% of the time.
