We need to voice our opinions to the stations and to the newspapers. There are ways to let the powers to be know that we, their customers, are unhappy with the inequity in coverage. :madman:

These are the times given to me by the AD at CCHS. So I think that the KHSAA is wrong.

The sophomores getting the varsity playing time are Petey Albrecht #34 and Patrick Nerl #25. Yes they are playing well. You are correct about the strength issue. Most of the juniors and a couple seniors play football or soccer and had strength and conditioning with that program. The Camels basketball program has no established strength and conditioning program in the off season or during the season. And it shows, this is one thing that if not changed will be a thorn in the side of this program.

Campbell Co shot 33 0f 53 (62%) from the field with Jon Verst leading the scoring with 22, Petey Albrecht with 19 and Pat Nerl with 18. Camels pushed the ball up the court and played a much more up tempo offense. Still lacking in defense giving Simon Kenton many open and easy shots. Turnovers hurt the Camels again giving Simon Kenton at least 12 points off of turnovers. Stupid mistakes by the Camels at the end of the first half gave Simon Kenton the lead 47-43. Camels outscored them 41-40 in the second. Very physical game played by the Simon Kenton, jersey holding, elbows, handchecking etc. Refs let them play. Great screen set by Albrecht on Ponzer, not sure he knew what he ran into! (Legal screen, I might add) Camels are getting better.

Campbell County freshman easily defeated Bishop Brossart today 44-20 to win the 37th District championship. The Camels defeated the Scott freshman last night to advance to today's championship. Great job Coach Sean Maddy and boys! This team has shown steady improvement all year and you make us proud. Good luck in the Regionals!! :dancingpa

Today Harrsion Co cancelled the game between these two teams scheduled for tomorrow night due to overbooking of games.

While this is a good group of freshman players at CCHS I may have to question this statement. The two most recent teams complied a better record than this team so far. This year's team is 10-8 while the current junior class complied a record of 20-5 with losses to Scott Co by 5 and 8, Lex Cath by 7, Dixie by 2 and Mason Co by 6. This team also outscored their opponents by an average of 25 points a game. The current sophomore class complied a record of 17-5 losing to Mason Co in the regional finals. While this current freshman class is improving and we expect good things from them, I am not sure they are the best to come out since 1995. Brady Jolly and Cody Neises are good players and may see some JV action before the year is out.
