  1. Indeed that was a very good team. I particularly enjoyed watching them play in their last game that season. :sssh:
  2. Whoa here, before something gets way out of hand. I can assure you that there was no underlying tone in my post. The phrase "on to Johnsonville" just had kind of a sound of packing up and moving the troops on to the next battle. Mods please do remove my post if anyone thinks that there was any other intention. Anyone who knows me knows that I meant no harm at all. I sincerly apologize if anything was mis-interpreted.
  3. Glad that UK had such a stellar year last year, but I cant say that I am not very disapointed that out of the 8 early signees , there was not the first kid that came from a Kentucky High School. Shame on the UK staff.
  4. It's starting to have a sort of Civil Warish tone to it.
  5. Pretty good satirical effort, but IMO, you play second fiddle and fall greatly to Carl Luther. Should be an interesting and humorous week of wit.
  6. Was it his 13th? I thought his dad told me it was his 16th.
  7. Johnsonville, Johnsonville, sisk boom bah.............
  8. Maybe it's just me and my twisted way of thinking , but I would think that the key here would be that the words Johnson Central would imply that it would more than likely be located in Johnson County. Sheesh, even most of us in eastern Kentucky have been taught in school what and where the majority of the county seats in the state are. Johnson Central's name has hardly just made news headlines in the last couple of hours. I believe the last time I looked they were rated above Covington Catholic in at least the last AP poll. You would think that a couple of guys that are supposed to be educated enough to represent the radio broadcasting arm of your football program would be professional enough to semi-educate themselves as to where the location of their next possible opponent would be in the event that they won their next game. That to me, would be the utmost embarrassment ,as to be so totally dumb about any of the particulars. It was commonly known that the winner of the Johnson Central/Rockcastle County game would be the host member of the state semi-final game.
  9. No doubt, my superior little buddy.:thumb:
  10. You should have seen the little goomer throwing his little fit in the press box last week. That would have been well worth anybody's trip to Johnsonville.
  11. How do you do that PM thingy?
  12. Aint no way anyone in the Lexington or Covington area figured out how to get to Johnsonville. Anyways a coach at LexCath told me he did not think that LexCath could beat JC to begin with.
  13. Yeah, I knew where is was. I do a lot of business in the area.
  14. Shhhhh, Let em think we're in Canada somewhere.
  15. Ya'all must just live in your own little world up there.
  16. Thanks for the confidence.:thumb:
  17. Did you make it up to Johnsonville tonight, Billy Ray?
  18. Is that the same thing as "vienna" sausages? We eat em for breakfast round here.
  19. The exact quote from the Cov Cath announcer when told that CovCath would be playing Johnson Central was , "Well I guess we will be traveling next week to JOHNSONVILLE. I have no idea where Johnson Central is. I assume in the middle of nowhere."
  20. Hey I listened to the final couple of minutes of the CovCath/LexCath game and the post game show. When CovCath announcers were told that Johnson Central won their game one announcer said "Well I guess that we will be playing next week in Johnsonville. I have no idea where Johnson Central is. I assume in the middle of nowhere."
  21. Actually according to the KHSAA website Ian tied the record tonight. Matney had 12 interceptions in 1975.
