  1. Russell has a Clark TD called back. Russell commentators question the "late flag"
  2. 3 and out.. Ashland to get the ball Russell's Lineman Wills went down with an ankle injury.
  3. Drew McDavid catches TD pass for Ashland TD. Matt Thomas running wild on the Devils. Russell 14 Ashland 7
  4. Ashland outgains Russell in first half
  5. That sounds better. Why not MAN UP and play 11 man though?
  6. When did Ashland score MHSU?
  7. Im listening to Russell's commentators. They have blinders on (as expected). Russell up 7-0 with a defensive touchdown. Ashland is passing too much. Clark and Lewis sound like men on D for Russell.
  8. Ashland needs to run Thomas right at the Russell D.
  9. Russell up early 7-0
  10. Mountain teams like Williamsburg and Phelps have 20 or so players every year. From your description, this does sound pitiful.
  11. Who remaining on the schedule can the bulldogs beat?
  12. With 25 kids, why not try to play a real 11-man schedule?
  13. Wow! Based on these stats, this game was dominated by Pikeville.
  14. Was pleased to see Haywood try the long field goal. From the radio commentary, it had plenty of distance, just pushed it a bit. We lost at least 3 fumbles Blues Brother. You right, it must be reduced in order to win big competitive games. Belfry is always gonna fumble some with the offense they run, but it must be limited. Hopefully it will improve as the season wears on.
  15. I heard that last night on the radio. No comparison IMO. May is a bruiser who plays with awesome emotion, but as much pure/god-given talent as Howard. At least running the ball. At linebacker, May is about as good as they come. I think he has the potential to play defense at the next level.
  16. Did #40 Chad Steele play for Belfry last night? I didn't hear his named called once all night.
  17. lcfan, That is your right to do. I wasn't at the game, only listened to it on the radio. Lawrence simply couldn't move the ball and was held to very few first downs. I don't have the stats, but Lawrence generally went 3 and out. Do you feel that if Belfry had only lost one or two turnovers, they would have not been able to capitalize on those additional possessions?
  18. Don't be modest Ramber. Its your teams to win!
  19. I knew it wasn't Chase or Brandeis. Hope to join the club in a little over a year!
  20. You a lawyer Hearsay? I take it that pic is of a Supreme Ct Justice?
  21. Forgot Boone Co. That will be a very interesting district.
  22. Looks like a 3 way race between Ryle, SK, and Campbell Co in the NKY 4a
  23. Lawrence and Boyd are both down. Take it for what you will. Belfry turned the ball over and over and over. Lawrence had one big run. Other than that, NO offense. Belfry wasn't sharpe but Lawrence is WAY down. I really feel for the Lawrence faithful. They are a storied program and I know their fans are really struggling with the past few seasons. Every Lawrence fan I know that posts on here is a die-hard Bulldog supporter. I hope they turn it around, because Louisa has a lot of pride in that program. At the end of the day, Belfry and Sheldon Clark can only say they were in a competitive game with a hard nosed, under-manned team.
  24. I wonder if Bell just got worn down by the two platoon Devils. Good showing Bell!
