The Wayne Co. QB went off in the first half throwing for 242 yards and Wayne led 28-7 at one time before Corbin closed to 28-14 at the half. Corbin made some defensive adjustments at the half and held Wayne to 50 yards passing while shutting the Cardinals out in the second half.

Middlesboro is Corbin's biggest rival, at least in my opinion. South Laurel is Corbin's biggest rival all across the board in athletics, but not at the top in football.

UK has at least found a playmaker today in Fields. I wonder why he has not played much prior, for that matter, Williams has always impressed me at RB whenever he has gotten the opportunity.

Bridgewater handles the pressure better than Newton. Newton's passing has improved, has to start reading defenses much better and making better decisions.

Why didn't Uk call timeout so they could review that TD catch. I'm not sure if he got his foot down after securing the ball.

Corbin only lost 5 starters from last year's team, maybe they just got slower.................Frederick has 7 and Grubb 6 last year, neither one has an INT this year, but tonight was Frederick's first game.

An interesting stat that someone told me, Corbin had 26 Interceptions last year and have 2 this year through 5 games.

South Laurel gets a the benefit of a very poor pass interference call on a 3rd and 35 deep in their own territory, kind of changed the momentum to SL's side.

Not too surprising. Corbin may lead the state in turnovers and have giftwrapped two scores already, plus the South Laurel QB is the best Corbin has faced this year and the Hounds struggle to defend the pass.............

I heard that Mitchell Frederick has been cleared to play and may suit up for the Hounds this week. If true, he will make a big difference for Corbin, especially on the defensive side.
