I think LC has a lot of room to improve - getting some reps for the QB and getting Israel back...LC has some major league studs, especially #5, big-time D-1, and #10...Very hard for a 4-A team to beat them down the road... And I believe Pikeville wouldn't face Beechwood until the finals...Lex. Christian is their main roadblock before then, along with Raceland and maybe Hazard...

Pikeville's TD came in the 3rd...and they were in LC territory all night... As for the refs, only Pikeville had a TD called back...I agree though, way too many flags both ways...

Chaz is a guy that if you had 11 like him you would never lose... He is in on almost every tackle on defense, and would rush for 100 yards a game on most teams... Pikeville needs to hand the ball off more...LC was sending everyone at the QB on D, and he didn't have time to do anything...most of the time, the first fake to the RB, the RB was 20 yards downfield untouched, and the QB was swarmed on...first man through, Harmon especially, and Jackson as well, will be huge for Pikeville down the road...

Great win for the Hawks...I'm kind of surprised...great job!

Again, not a Frankfort thread...Frankfort has been to Louisville without having to buy a ticket to get in when??? Please start a thread on it...

Pikeville lost 3 fumbles deep in LC territory, including 1 that was returned for a TD with a few seconds left in the first half...17-0 LC should have been 10-7 LC or maybe even 14-10 Pikeville...Pikeville lost a fumble inside the LC 7 earlier in the half... In addition to the above, Pikeville turned it over on downs deep in LC territory twice...once after a Pikeville TD was called back on a terrible call 20 yards behind the play... Pikeville OUTRUSHED LC 269-174...Daniel Harmon had 188 yards on 16 carries...LC outgained Pikeville in total yards only 386-321... LC starters in till the end (what's up with that)...and marched down the field in the last 4 minutes with the first team in to punch one in with a minute to go... Anyways, Pikeville probably wouldn't beat LC 1 out of 10...and it's obvious why...but...a lot of positives for Pikeville in this one...

Before I post on the game that is the subject of this thread, please keep Frankfort in the Frankfort threads. Sick of hearing about a team that hasn't had a big win in 50 years...now back to the thread with my next post...
