That is only the third win for Caldwell in the last 10 games vs Trigg. However, it is the second year in a row that Caldwell has won the regular season match-up. Trigg should bounce back and get them in a second round match-up of the playoffs. Big loss though, they could have had home field advantage until they got to Papa Johns or got beat at home. Now they will have to travel after the first round. Much tougher road.

If a kid wants to play football and baseball, why can't he? My 2nd best offensive threat is a great baseball player and he was playing on a traveling team in late July and early August. I got him full time about 4 days before our first scrimmage. He's a great player, all the other kids on the team knew he was playing for his traveling baseball team and wanted him out there as soon as possible. Coaches need to let the kids play, stop worrying about great kids that try and play multiple sports that overlap. Football Championships are won in November and December, not July and August. Basketball Championships are won in March, not November and December. These athletes do not disrupt your team, if done correctly they improve your team.

With 4 minutes to go in the 3rd Q Southern had a TD called back that would have made it 28-13. Lots of pts. by Male late. Male did not look sharp early.

Hey Scribe; Fern Creek had over 150 yds. in penalties as well. The officials thought they were playing and wanted to be noticed. Twice during the drive before the half where Meade scored with 4 seconds remaining, their drive was kept alive by penalties. Fern Creek had a 26 play drive that included about 6 plays of penalties in the second half for the go ahead score, including a bad pass interference call and a bad block in the back call; one for them and one against them. Fern Creek also had a TD called back on a penalty. It was a very close game, poorly officiated.
