I don't think so. I believe "Big Coach" would be Wes Salyer. Wes is Chad's older brother that has coached at a few 1-AA programs over the past 10+ years most recently being Middle Tennesse State and now Murray State. Back to the search for a new coach. IMO Chad has the skills needed coach young men and a pride in the community that will keep him at Pikeville for sometime to come. That's not to say that other applicants might not have pride but I know that Chad would be in it for the long haul.

A little known fact is that Vick Marsh helped start the West Carter Football Program back in the 70's so: Running Backs: Vick Marsh (West Carter)(Ashland)

I'm not in Pike County any more but I would think that Coach Salyer should get an interview. To be honest I'm not sold on internet postings about the aire apparent by the former HC. Some things are left better off the internet JMO. Pikeville is and always has been a proud and classy program. At this point the school needs to hire man willing to stay for the long haul. Agian JMO.
