I have the up most respect for the Raceland Program and I do believe that Raceland could compete with Ironton in certain years. I don't know what kind of talent Raceland has coming in the near future but good luck if you get the Tigers on the schedule.

I think I'm missing the boat completely here. PIKEVILLE is waiting on a guy that has gone 5-17 in his last 2 years at Paul Dunbar to answer if he wants the job???? Even with the 10-3 record in 2005 he's still 15-20 at a school that should be at least 500. year in and year out and probably a contender every year. True, I don't know all of the circumstances but I just can't see why Pikeville is waiting???? And as far as a good fit????? Well I just don't see that either for a couple of reasons and the first is that he has a losing record at the school he's at...JMO.

"Undefeated regular seasons" I agree that the 2006 Golen Eagles were a special team.

Must not have watched the 1990 Tomcats .......Or the 1988 team.....Arliss was what he was....A great player on sub-par teams.

I could care less about KHSAA findings and such. Johnson Central and Coach Matney have agreed to the penalties. I would like to know if Jim will be allowed to coach the first 2 weeks or just hand the team to his assistants on game night?

Glad to here that the administration is being thorough in their search. I just hope that the other applicants are aware that the process is still underway. This is a life changing event for any applicant and I would be willing to bet that most of the people who have their name in the hat are on pins and needles to hear Yes or No. Good luck to the Hiring Committee and Administration at Pikeville with getting the right man to lead your storied program!

First, Congrats to the Royals on winning the 64th District Title. It was a great game with Ashland coming up short at the end, but heck doesn't that make for an exciting ball game? Second, the 6-0 record against Ashland and Boyd is impressive, but the 8-0 sweep of the District is more impressive IMO. There's not much time for enjoyment right now because the Region is here and the stakes get higher. Good luck to Rose Hill I hope The Tomcats get a 4th shot in Morehead. Lastly, good game Tomcats. I hope that these young Cats see from this past game that our team can compete with any team in the Region. Your community and school are behind you!!! Lets go to Morehead and give'em :fire: GO TOMCATS!!!
