Harrison County focused most of their defensive attention on Kennedy Igo after her epic 25-point semifinal performance the night before. But you can’t focus on any one GRC player as several on this squad can and have stepped up this season to carry the team to victory. Tonight it was Hayley Harrison’s turn. The senior who was suprisingly snubbed in the vote for who would represent the 10th Region as a Miss Basketball candidate, made a big statement pouring in 24 point. GRC moves on to play in Lexington next week and will face 6th Region champion Mercy next Wednesday at 6:30 pm. What a ball game. GRC could not throw it in the ocean. We finally got things going in the 4th Q and scored 25 points . Kennedy Igo with 25 points to lead the Cards. Win the last one!!!

Shocked!!!

Make White Chicken chili, and take it to my sons house so he wi have supper cooked when he get in from work. Grocery, pay electric bill. Gym. Go see mom at hospital and check with Dr on x-ray they took Friday on her broken ankle. See what the plan is and how long will she will be staying. Get in order some people to help me when she gets home as I can not do it by myself. Pick out clothes and go to the semi-finals of the lady hoops game to support them. We may eat at Cracker Barrel before the game. This is a annual road trip for myself and 2 GRC retired teachers.

Getting to see the same people that sit around us each year. It is like a reunion. I love eating at the Hilton. They have the best fish sandwich with banana pepper cole slaw. If certain teams make the sweet sixteen that I am close to someone in the program, they will bring me a tee shirt from their school and I will wear it during their games.I used to wear the color of the team that won form our region. I had to stop that as I own no purple. But I always cheer for our region.

So true and Campbell had the last one. GRC had a great 2nd Q and I felt good about our chances of winning. Going into the 4th I felt even better as usually the 4th Q has been our best Q. Then the wheels fell off. Well I won't get my bucket list this year either. That was for the boys and girls team to go to state the same year. Congrats to Campbell Co and I know you will represent the 10 region very well. I want to say to all of GRC's seniors that it has been such a pleasure to support you all and what a great journey this season has been. I wish the best for each and everyone of you on your future plans after graduation. I have said it many times, "I love this team". Thanks for the ride to the whole team and coaches. God willing I will be ready for another great journey next season.

It seems we are a good 4th Q team. Playing some of our best ballgame in the 4th. I attribute part of this to our bench. Watch them cheer on the players and hyping them up. They are fun to watch. Especially Thomas.

#1 and #2 in the region play each other tonight. I think GRC matches up well with them. Will we see another thriller tonight? Your thoughts and prediction
