Josh has is priorities set which will probably lead to more success than Grundy or Burton. The best thing that could happen for Josh would be to get traded.

Nope. Darren Burton never cracked the Big Leagues either. Both advanced as high as AAA ball, but never quite made it. However, Burton was invited to spring training with the Royals several seasons, sort of the same thing Josh Anderson will be doing this spring.

Grundy played professionally, but didn't play Major League Baseball.

Brown has better stuff, Perkins is really still learning how to pitch. The difference in Perkins at the beginning of last year compared to the end was night and day. Perkins won a head to head matchup 2-1 last year.

I've always been a fan of something like "The 2006 Diamond Dandy" or something cheesy like that.

I think Wallen is close, and I've only seen the Fitzpatrick kid throw a couple times.

Every team mentioned thus far has strong starting pitching, including Mercer. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to see Mercer last year, but I remember Bottoms.

They do have good, young pitching. But do they have a #1 to match up with Perkins from Pulaski or better yet, Brown from Rockastle, both of which are district opponents.

Losing Cole, probably their best hitter, hurts a lot. I'm not sure of their pitching after losing Bray, either.

What years was the field used by pro teams? Any notable players? Anybody have any pics?

Is there a timetable on Andy Cole? Will he even be able to return by the end of baseball season?

I can't remember John receiving any T's this year, and though I didn't see every game of the tourny in London, he's seemed under control this year. Ty seems to be a different story, however...

I noticed that you said these two? I wasn't at the game so I don't know, but did John Perkins do something? From the games I had seen this year, he seems to have toned it down a bit.

What does Whitley have coming back?

12th Region West Jessamine Boyle County and a whole bunch of teams that could be the third, including Danville, Mercer, Southwestern, and Pulaski. I couldn't really say who the favorite to win it is; each of these teams has a pretty good shot.

There was a kid from Whitley County that I saw last season that was pretty impressive...I think he'll be a Sr. this season...I want to say his last name is Taylor.

Anyone have any pics of this field?

I'm pretty sure UK had talked with him, but I don't know the status of that situation now.

Branscum from SW, I would imagine. Brown from Rockastle has batter stuff, but in the 4 or 5 times I've seen him pitch he's had quite a bit of trouble finding the strike zone.
