We are just talking high school football. Why talk about getting rid of a football coach. Highlands is 3-1, they will be in the mix for a state championship. The number 1 goal of a high school coach is to mold the boys to men. Get individuals to play as a team and represent the community. Get the players ready for the next level if they chose. If they win games that is a plus. Everyone that is wanting him gone should go to some of the surrounding schools and see how much it is a struggle to field a team. Highlands has great facilities, great community and great coaches. Just enjoy the process.

I may have to go to Scott vs Bourbon game next week. I think Bourbon is 4-0

I talked to a coach last night. From what the coach said, Cook is very underrated, especially with his legs. Hardy is a tough matchup. But in the 4th Hampton took over and made several plays.

Agreed. In talking to former players last weekend. It seems Scott losses a lot of kids to other schools. Which is hard when they really only have one feeder middle school.

I am hoping for a better game. But looking at the rosters, Scott is so young. They are still trying to recover for having 4 coaches in 5 years.

I believe it is the 536 bridge that goes over linking river. I could be wrong but I believe I read that a few years ago.

Both teams played varsity into the 4th quarter.. as both wanted one position each in the 4th. It was 35-21 when the young guys were put in.

I decided to go out to see the battle of 37 District foes. It was so hot. Brossart looked really good in the 1st half. Scott made a run in the 3rd and early 4th before it looked like teams put in the young guys. Scott actually won 36-35 Scott needs to figure out how to start better or it will be a long year I was pretty impressed with Brossart

What was the score?

Who did Brossart play in their 1st scrimmage?

Any other players to look forward to on Scott. I have not followed them for a few years since they left 4A.

I guess SK is not a team Highlands would play. Just ask Highlands to schedule Anderson and we will settle it between the lines. There is a big difference between ohio vs kentucky football.

You have not followed Anderson. They have been a power in Cincinnati since the early 90s. Any time they played a team from KY they have smoked them. They will open against Cooper so we will see.

Blaackar is very good I have watched Beechwood a few times this summer, I think they will surprise some teams this year.

Not true. I went to the game and both varsity teams played until the last few minutes. There were games in both the main and Aux gym.

I just don't understand people anymore. I don't see how anyone wants to continue to be a coach or be a high school referee.
