  1. ALDS Game 2: Chicago 4 Cleveland 3 White Sox have a 2-0 lead headed to the Windy City.
  2. As I have always said about any HS coach of any sport anywhere: If your players are better as seniors than they were as Freshmen and they are prepared for college, junior (community college), trade school, or the workforce, then you have done your job excellently and should not be on any hot seats. HS sports should never be about winning or losing. I know that's not reality, but that isn't a coach issue. That is a parent/booster issue that is complained into an administration issue. Never blame the coach, blame you.
  3. NLDS Game 2: Atlanta 1 Los Angeles 0 after 1/2 and inning.
  4. That was a fun ending to a baseball game. If it weren't for all the errors, it would have been a really great game.
  5. Just the medicine the Bengals need. Even half manned on offense they should be able to handle Miami. After week one I thought Cleveland was on the clock. As we sit now, I think that honor belongs to Miami. They are terrible.
  6. Semi-Finals Gale 1: Golden State 71 Las Vegas 60 Gabby Williams leads all scorers with 25 as the Valkyries take the 1-0 series lead.
  7. True. Not that it matters because I don't think they are making it to a bowl. On their remaining schedule, maybe 3 wins (Arkansas, maybe A&M, and maybe Clemson) which would only get then to 5.
  8. San Diego plates another on a Milwaukee throwing error. 2-0 Padres with 2 out in the bottom of the fifth.
  9. Semi-Finals Game 1: Atlanta 92 New York 82 Jordin Canada scores 25 for the Dream as they take the 1-0 lead in the best of 5 series. Liberty's Sabrina Ionescu led all scorers with 27
  10. Unless the Gamecocks just completely implode, I think he definitely coaches through the end of the regular season and maybe a bowl game, assuming they make one, which all indications are no.
  11. NLDS Game 2: Padres 1 Brewers 0 top of the 5th. Ty France with an RBI hit a night after his potential game winning HR bounces off the rafters for an out.
  12. I live near the campus and could hear the PA guy. Sounded like a good homecoming. Walsh was a top 25 DII squad.
  13. Ground Rules are Ground Rules, but that has to sting if you are the Padres. They should have had the lead going into the bottom of the ninth.
  14. NLDS Game1: San Diego 2 Milwaukee 0 in the top of the second.
  15. ALDS Game 1: Tampa Bay 1 New York 0. Rays take the 1-0 series lead
  16. Rasmussen loses the no-no with 2 out in the 8th on a double, but the Yankee runner gets thrown out at third trying to stretch a triple. So still 1-0 Rays headed into the bottom of the 8th.
  17. 1-0 Rays after 6 1/2. Tampa pitcher Drew Rasmussen has a no-hitter working headed to the bottom of 7.
  18. ALDS Game 1: Tampa Bay 1 New York 0. Middle of the 6th.
  19. The clock is ticking on Beamer. If he survives the season, I don't think he's the Gamecocks coach in January.
  20. Good to see Florida showed up today. Good Job guys, nice effort. 45-17 Missouri
  21. Dodger hold on for the 5-3 win in Game 1.
  22. An Ozzie Albies 2 run homer cuts the Dodger lead to 5-3. No outs in the top of the ninth.
  23. Game 1 in the NLDS. Los Angeles currently up on the Braves, 5-1 in the top of the 8th. All of the Dodgers runshave come on homeruns.
  24. Chicago White Sox 3 Cleveland Guardians 0 White Sox lead the series, 1-0
  25. Game 1 of the ALDS currently has Chicago on top of Cleveland 3-0 in the bottom of the seventh
