The CCH Frosh is as stated previously absolutely massive…..from a height and a muscle perspective…..they are bigger than some Varsity teams. They are loaded with athletes as well that play with a lot of speed and discipline and can move around. That team has a ton of weapons. They will be so much fun to watch.

If you get committed somewhere by the wife I’ll come visit and be sure to bring updates!? With Reardon gone and Harney still unsettled who were the safety’s and how did they look? And I cannot wait to watch our backers get after this year. Another solid post.

Hearing Austin Woolf, son of Mike Woolf (CCH '88) is likely to be a starting O-lineman. These are the 5 names I keep hearing and that make the most sense.

I am not sure I share your optimism on the Harney situation….I am usually a keg not half full, but all the way full especially when it comes to the Colonels, but everything I am hearing seems to point to either no decision in the indefinite future or Him being ruled ineligible…..I really hope I am dead wrong and my info is bad….would love to be proven wrong here. And yes, outside of one 10 point loss to Newport, I have heard squat over the summer about the Hoops team. And with Hussey’s ability, my guess is He plays high level AAU somewhere….just lacking info this Summer

I know football is getting most of the attention right now, but with Summer over and school starting anyone have any updates or takes on how we looked over the Summer and where we stand heading into the season starting soon?

I am pretty sure we will absolutely see Gaiser at multiple points throughout the year and my guess is at multiple positions in different formations. He is too electric even as a Sophomore not to be used. I venture to say there will be packages for Him under center as well. We will see Eddie’s most varied offense yet….he simply has too many weapons not to. Again, to the 200 references before this, it all depends on our Line. I like what you threw out a lot. They are not the biggest, but gosh they are an aggressively physical group with more quickness then we have seen up front in a while. I fully expect to see at least a partially retooled offensive when they take the field. Teams keying on Leen and Rodriguez simply will not work this year with our options. And Bessler, Kruer, and Reeves will be the unsung heroes/leaders of this team…. My 2 cents as a pre-season know-it-all.?

I am pretty sure you are correct here. Not sure what could have changed their minds as kids seem to be switching schools pretty routinely, even coming from over the River. Let the kids play and have fun.

Unless he improved dramatically, based off the pieces they have added, I would say he stays role play off the bench.

My best guess is: PG - Harney SG - McGillis SG - Hussey Fwd - Bradshaw C - Miller Hussey can play the point as well very easily and Wermuth becomes one of the best 6th men off the bench…. Again just a best guess going off highlights from the Newport Game…. Any other takes…..

I believe UKato91 is referring to Athens coming back to CCH and not Kinney from Newport where GoBucks97 is referring to Kinney from Newport….this should clear this up I think…

All good news and that is a great take on how Athens and Cash will work together. A 4 headed Sophomore core….fun for a few years.

I have only heard it on here that He is possibly leaving and nowhere else. Yes, did not see Him in any of the video either, but could just be on vacation or something or maybe soccer related as He is quite the soccer player as well. Agree completely that if Athens does stay, our back court is scary for the next 3 years….couple that with Bradshaw and you have quite the 3 year nucleus….

Totally agree with this on Newport. Once Harney, Wermuth, and Miller settle in and learn the system and their teammates it could very easily be a totally different ball game. Do we know if Athens is coming back or did He leave? He is having a very impressive AAU season so far….like to know His status based on rumors and rumblings on here…..

A Big maybe overstating as He is more of a 3 guy, but has size and is from Beechwood. Got it from someone involved with the team. Was told He has already enrolled and is practicing. Kind of stumbled onto the info….

I could be off on this, but I just heard from the best source that a NKY Big just transferred and enrolled at CCH….this would be in addition to Ruby’s Grandson…..anyone hearing anything on this. And any word on the status for Athens for next season?…..is He staying or going?
