I'd like to see Ryle and Bryan Station play. Mainly to see if Ryle can avenge what the defenders did to them in the Regional Championship last year.

This has me raising an eyebrow at the CAL score from last week, what happened in that one?

Bryan station goes for it on 4th and 1 at midfield. Wr comes in motion and collides with both the QB and RB in the backfield, QB keeps his footing and takes off, he's run down and stripped at the 1 yard line. But BS recovers in the endzone. It's now BS 21 - GRC 0 with 4:47 left in the half.

Quiet 2Q for both teams, score is still BS 14 - 0 GRC with 5 min left in the half.

Station scores a Touchdown after bobbling their field goal snap. GRC follows it up with a 3 and out followed by a bobbled punt that station recoverd in the endzone. Bryan Station 14 - GRC 0 with 3:24 1Q.

Is there a possibility that Jenkins Highschool could ever be absorbed into Letcher County Central? The schools are only 15 minutes apart and it would allow student athletes at Jenkins and students in general to possibly have a better highschool experience whole also giving LCC a small enrollment boost.

Sorry I wasn't trying to make it seem it seem as if FD is getting some special treatment. As someone who started highschool the year Douglas opened up I know first hand that Station was the one who got hit the hardest especially in the first couple of years. Henry Clay was fine for the first 2 years. But once the class of 19 and 20 athletes graduated things have went downhill for the program. Obviously I'm not not saying that Douglas is poaching kids from Henry Clay mainly because the schools have to abide by districts. But you do have to admit they're have been some really good athletes who've gone through the broncos program who lived in what was previously Henry clay District. And yes it is hard to make excuses for a school that has 2000 students, there has to be some talent within that student body right?

EJ Hayes middle school who is often ranked as the best middle school in Lexington used to pump alot of talent into Henry Clay, but once FD opened uup alot of those kids from started going to FD leaving Clay with not much talent to restock their programs with, which is why you can see that sports at Clay have been on a bit of a decline over the years, with football getting the worst of it. Below are some of the athletes off the top of my head that I know went to EJ Hayes and then chose FD over Clay. Later on in the season Cinci St. X will play Trinity and Elder. So depending on how Elder does against St. Edwards and then how well Cinci St. X does against trinity and elder, we might be able to conjur up a hypothetical on how trinity would fair against St. Edwards.

He's not being playing QB as much as you'd think, plus you can make the argument that Quisenberry has out performed him at QB. Plus it's a fair argument to make that Quisenberry has played against better competition this far Harris - 2 of 6 for 45 yds, 16 carries for 225 yds and 4 TDs, 4 receptions for 103 yds 2 TDs Quisenberry - 2 of 2 for 89 yds passing 1 TD, 34 carries for 249 yds 5 TDs, 11 receptions for 169 yds 1 TD Elder plays St Edwards this Friday and then plays Louisville St. X next Friday seeing how those games go might allow us to get a better gage at how Boyle and Male might stack up. Also Elder plays Cinci St X that trinity also plays so we'll be able to look at that too.

Fwiw, St. Edwards came into this game riding a 20 game win streak vs non-Ohio opponents.

Last week St Edwards played and beat St Joseph Prep who's the #1 team in Pennsylvania, currently ranked 28th in the nation, and has multiple kids committed to play Power 4 football, with 2 of them being committed to Ohio State, so definitely not a slouch of a team

Crazy to think that this game was tied 21-21 at halftime. Boyle just put on an absolute clinic in the 2nd half. With a passing TD, A pick and multiple rushing TDs, is West Virginia about to get Tavon Austin 2.0 or will another program come in and steal him?

I agree with you, they were the best team in the state last year and this year as well so far. My comment was more for the people who're still saying that Trinity is better than BoCo even after watching Douglas play both of them last year, and Station play both of them this year.

St. Edwards current national rankings. MaxPreps - 12 Calpreps - 22 On3 - 19 HSFA - 7 USA today - 12 Sports illustrated - 11 Average - 13.8 If BoCo can keep it respectable against a top 15 opponent they're definitely the best team in Ky.

After watching both teams play against Bryan station I'd take Boyle county mainly since Trinity doesn't have an Answer for Quisenberry. Trinity scored 28 vs Bryan station. Boyle Co scored 28 in just the first 1.5 quarters vs Bryan Station. Same thing with last year after watching how both teams played vs Douglas I'd take Boyle Co back then too.

I don't think that would matter much when you consider that the population that St Edwards is pulling from is not that much smaller than the population of Kentucky.
