Replying on Starks: he is def a beast and will be fun to watch this yr along with Cutter Boley of LCA! I think LCA will have something to say about BW being the best in 2A but time will tell- 8/19 can’t get here fast enough, lol

Another one to watch out for that was injured last year is JR QB Jackson Smith from WV as he is a dual threat and should have a breakout year- was a track star in 100 and 200M- he also has some weapons around him in Geoffrey Kratzenburg and Logan Ryan. Also look out for Javier Ison from HC and the RB from Lloyd (forget his name). Big year in 2A as a ton of talent all around the state!!!

Some names in 2A people have been talking about (skill players only) are: Russ Osborne- QB SV Cole Crampton- RB WC Zane Cartwright- QB MF Drew Nieves- QB/WR LCA and the new QB at LCA Mitch Berger- RB BW Austin Sperry- RB/WR BC Also hearing about some players from Green County and Murray too- not sure of names! I am sure there are others in the skill position that will break out this year but these are ones I have been hearing of- season right around the corner so we will find out fast! 2A is LOADED!!!!

Any 7 on 7 updates from this week as football scrimmages/games are right around the corner?

BW has many players back and some top players like Berger, Campbell, McCormack, Waddell, and their RB- I think they are going to be ok, lol Not a rebuild but a RE-LOAD!

Where do you see them at in the Top 4 as those 4 will be really good? Just curious as everyone has an opinion!

Don’t sleep on WV as returning some experienced players on both sides of the ball with a dual threat QB! In the 9-12 range IMO but will be tested early so we will see! 1st Scrimmage at Fairdale will tell a lot!

If they have a couple consistent additional scorers besides Meyer they will be a tough team to beat!

Ipsaro had 34 when I stopped watching in 3rd Q! What did he finish with? Kid is a baller!

Holy Cross Cov 108 DeSales 92 Wonder how many Meyer had! impressive win for HC considering the tough schedule and close losses that DeSales has had!

How do you deny Ipsaro the MVP as he deserved it? What rationale was used to not give it to him- his team won and his stat line was 34 PTS and 5 assists. He was the floor general tonight. Reed Shephard is a phenomenal and very unselfish player but tonight belonged to Evan Ipsaro and his CCH Colonels!!!

That’s why they play the game but one thing is for sure, 2022 should be another exciting year in 2A. Anyone know if they plan on tweaking the RPI formula/calculations next season? Wasn’t sure if there were any plans on potential changes- thanks! PLAY BALL as 2022 season can’t get here soon enough!

Agree R1 Sports Fan as Mayfield is young and will definitely be a contender in 2A. 2A should be very competitive in 2022- any other teams to watch out for as I can see the following (apologize if any team was left out): BW- have to unseat the 2 time defending champ before they fall from #1- they will reload for sure LCA- 2 time defending state runner up- enough said MAYFELD- young and very athletic SV- prob has one of best QBs in class WV- strong So class with skill DANVILLE- heard they were young and was coaches 1st yr OC- ???? SOMERSET- ??? BREATHITT- I believe they were young this yr GREEN COUNTY- ???? OTHERS- METCALFE COUNTY, LLOYD, MIDDLESBORO, WEST CARTER, MARTIN COUNTY, PRESTONSBURG Is it football season yet? WV should definitely be in the mix as they started 7-8 SOs against BW in Regional Final! From what I have seen too SV is young and will be in the mix as well! Don’t sleep on either one of these teams!
