A friend and I were talking about the kicking game and how it has evolved over the years. He mentioned that nearly every time he watches a game, the kickoff sails into or out of the end zone, leaving no room for a return. He suggested that if the NFL is going to keep kickoffs at the 35 yard line, he’d like to see the NFL award 1 point to a team if their kicker makes a field goal on a kickoff. What are your thoughts on this?
