My roommate was there and said it was a hell of a game. He also snagged a picture of a local sportswriter.

I came at 1 on Friday and was there 15 minutes before the gates opened on Saturday. Had zero issues with parking.

I did miss the Fresh Market concession, so I'll have to take that complaint back. Though prices were still very high.

I would argue that this statement rings louder and more true with wrestling. Also, no sport teaches you more about becoming a man than wrestling. You are accountable to your team, but unlike with football when you are out there on the mat there is nobody to blame but yourself and no excuses can be made for what results others' actions might have caused.

I do have complaints. 1. The lighting for finals was HORRIBLE. That has to be fixed next year. 2. Concessions weren't very good and lacked any variety. For an athletic event I'm always amazed at the lack of nutritious eating options. 3. Location, this couples back with concessions but there is no way to leave and get something to eat. You are stuck dealing with what the Horse Park provides and while the burgers were ok I would have prefered some variety if I'm stuck there for two days. 4. Time - WOW, Saturday was a LLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNGGGGG day. Gotta improve it. Overall, I think I like it better than Frankfort but changes need to be made or I'd like them to look elsewhere.

Very special. I wasn't shocked that Brock beat TJ, in fact I picked him. But he dominated the match and that was surprising. It's going to be special watching Brock finish out his career. He has the chance to be the first 5 timer ever from KY!

They don't have to compete. But do need to be certified at that weight. Slight difference. Apparently these kids accomplished that at Grant County...
