Was told that the Highlands 8th grade team that NCC beat just beat Union Raiders. Can anyone confirm this?

A lot of hype about this Newport team but their schedule has been extremely week so far. NCC offense isn't that strong but I don't think Newport has been hit like they will be Friday. I like NCC by 10 points.

CCH made a bad scheduling decision by scheduling LaSalle before the Highlands game. Ky teams always come out of these games beat up and a couple keys players on the sidelines recovering for a week or Two.

Would love to see Union Raiders 8th play NCC 8th.

I am not sure but I heard that several key players got hurt against Roger Bacon. If that is the case Walton wins this one. NCC is to thin on good back up players. Talent drops off a ton.

Highlands made easy work of a struggling Campbell County team but there was a couple 3 and 15 or more yards that they converted. They will need to get their Offense together if they want to try and knock Cov Cath off.

Their offense has to get better if they are planning on making any kind of run in the playoffs. Defense is on the field way to much.

This NCC team is really good. They beat one Of Highlands 8th grade teams 44-28 and had 2 TD called back and a scoop and score whistled dead it could have easily been 60-28. They beat Campbell County A team 33-0. Sharp middle 42-6 and Beechwood 41-0. Even if they lose a couple players I think this group has a great shot at a couple State titles. They have good players all over the field and in 1A 5 or 6 good players can take you a long way.

If LC defense is any good this will be a close game. CC offense isn't even close to what it was the past 2 years. CC defense however is pretty good. I am looking forward to the final score of this game.
