Class 2A Playoffs: #4 Beechwood vs. Covington Holy Cross Predictions/Updates
Prayers for the QB! Someone keep us updated on his status.
-
Breathitt County 56 Pike Central 22
Can’t be OCath, Somerset and Mayfield left in the final 4. OCath will have to play Somerset or Mayfield in the 3rd round. Must be 2 from the East and 2 from the West so most likely Breathitt and Beechwood from East and Mayfield and Somerset or LCA from West.

2A RPI tie breaker
There is no tie. On the RPI page it shows that SOMERSET has an RPI of .75279 and Mayfield has .75316 Mayfield is the 2 seed and Somerset is the 3 seed. These teams won’t meet unless they both make it to the State Championship. The RPI will just be deciding who travels to these teams starting in the 3rd round if they both win.

RPI Question
Does the RPI that a team has after this last regular season weekend stay with them throughout the playoffs or will it continue to change thru the playoffs? Thanks in advance.

Jason Frakes is "taking on" the KHSAA
What is the alternative? Not play? How exactly do they “answer” to the member schools? I repeat they answer to no one. They make the rules and then they rule on their own rules. Lol. I agree they take input from representatives from the schools but they don’t “answer” to them.

Jason Frakes is "taking on" the KHSAA
Last year when a student athlete (football) from Somerset took on the KHSAA and got an injunction from the court and was able to play 5 games. Due to a clerical error, the injunction ran out and the student did not get to finish the year but yes, they can play under the injunction and no, the team will not forfeit any games if they play him. Just FYI, our US court system does have the final say and not the KHSAA.

Jason Frakes is "taking on" the KHSAA
It’s all arbitrary and that is the problem. The KHSAA has TOO much power and they don’t answer to anyone. I commend Frakes for his efforts! Shine some light on how certain people don’t move and don’t have any extenuating circumstances and are eligible and others that move are not. I think there needs to be a house cleaning and start at the top.

5A #4 South Oldham at 5A Oldham County
South has too many weapons. OC is playing well but they haven’t faced any competition yet. I’m saying South by 2 TD’s.

Bowling Green's, Vito Tisdale, picks up another Major Offer...
He has a lot of offers (Like they said earlier, he will have all top 25 by the time he’s a senior) He’s a great kid. His brother was a 2 sport standout a couple years ago at BG, Blue Tisdale. Devito is a junior at BG and was ranked as the best basketball player in his class in middle school. His dad was the lead singer in the rap group Nappy Roots in the ‘90s. I think the sky is the limit for this kid. If he keeps his head on straight, I can see him playing on Sundays. Congrats Vito!!
