After Beechwood kicked it off first play rom scrimmage Panthers fumbled the qb-rb exchange and Beechwood recovers at Frankfort’s 24 yard line.

Beechwood drives it down to the 6 yard line and on 3rd and goal from the 6 Burch scrambles left and runs into the end zone for a TD. Xp good 14-0 Tigers 1:40 left in 1st quarter.

After a squib kick Panthers went for it on 4th down at their own 46 and turned it over on downs Beechwood ball there.

Logan Castleman breaks several tackles breaks it outside for a 29 yard TD run. XP is good 7-0 Tigers.

Beechwood has been in the full house backfield every play!!!! Not sure what’s going on this isn’t their offense!

Beechwood looking very bad and rusty. First play fumble the ball but we recovered it.

Frankfort went 3 and out and punted it to their own 47 so Beechwood takes over there.

Beechwood very mathodicly drove accross the 50 staying in full house backfield every play but threw deep and apparently Frankfort came down with the int but as the interceptor went to the ground the ball was on the turf but they called it an int.

Beechwood starts with ball at their own 30!

8 minutes till kickoff and crowd is a bit on the low side!!!! Could be the last home game for the Tiger’s this year as they would travel the rest of the way if upsets don’t happen. Oh well i am here and ready!!!!!!

Frankfort has extremely low numbers but have good size!

So ready for Beechwood’s first playoff game this season t-minus 45 minutes till Kickoff!!!!!!

I think this CAL-Walton game could be extremely good assuming the rumors are wrong about suspended players for Walton.

I am not arguing that Beechwood won’t be in 2A next alignment what I take exception to is people saying they aren’t playing in the proper class or should move up because they are extremely good. If we use that logic because they are so good they should move up then because Trinity and St. X are so dominant in 6A they should go compete in the GCL and try to win titles there. It’s not a proper way to view the situation Beechwood like everyone else is playing where they were put.

Is there gonna be a defined territory for each school or is it gonna be open enrollment?

Please look at the class break down again according to the year of this realignment happened Beechwood is a 1A School. Why would you say they are a 2A school playing in 1A yes the enrollment has gone up but so have other schools so until the next realignment happens they are 1A. I always read people on here saying Beechwood should play up or are to big for 1A and realistically they are where they should be. They prove year in and year out they are extremely good and play most of the other NKY 2A schools and win most of those games. Back to the topic of this thread NKY 6A is definitely down this year but when compared to the Louisville schools they should always be considered down because they really can’t compete with Trinity and St. X. No knock on them but those schools are on a different level than most all teams in KY.

I’m not one for comparing common opponents because anything can happen on any given day!!! I am not sure why Paris would have to play lights out to win this game. Paris beat Brossart 62-14 during the regular season all be it at home. Raceland beat Brossart 55-14 and yes it was on the road but I truly believe this game is a pick em and it will come down to one of the last plays that will make or break either team. I just don’t understand how anyone can believe that Paris has to have some sort of super human performance to compete with Raceland. Against Paintsville probably because they have showed to be head and shoulders better than any other team in that Region. I hope this game lives up to the hype. Can’t wait to follow on here. Will make sure my phone is charged fully on Friday before Beechwood’s game.

Beechwood will continue to play Cov Cath because A) it is a good tough game against a bigger school to prepare them for the playoffs. B) it is a rivalry game, even though lately it has been dominated by CCH, and who wouldn’t want to see these 2 perineal powers hook up. C) The gate for this game makes it well worth playing because it helps all sports at Beechwood considering all the concessions sales goes to whatever sport is running it.

I think Walton’s lack of a good passing game is gonna hurt them in this game. CAL will be able to limit the run game and force Walton into an uncomfortable position. CAL- 28 Walton- 17

I believe Highlands can get the upset against South Oldham!!!! Highlands is playing well and South didn’t play last week and could be a little rusty early and if so Highlands could get a good lead.

Give it a rest Ryle played a team with a winning record (6-4) and SK played a team that was (3-7). Much like SK’s regular season’s schedule another cupcake. Ryle beat SK and that is all the comparison’s anyone should need.
