Anyone know what the 2018 Trinity football schedule might look like next year ?

I hope coach Wolford stays head coach at Saint Xavier for the next 20 years. He would not be interviewed after the game. Must be a very bitter pill to swallow.

Trinity now has an eight game lead in the overall series. The X coach now 1-8 against Trinity.

X has too much pride to ever quit. They will claw and scratch to the very end. Trinity’s defense came up big when they needed to. X squandered too many scoring opportunities in the red zone.

Don’t let up Rocks score.

Now it is getting sloppy. Trinity needs to focus on just keeping the plays in front of them. The vaunted Trinity defense not playing up to their reputation.

Trinity needs to show some old school pride. The old Trinity teams of the 80’s and 90’s would have never let X back in the game once they were down by 21 points.

X has too much pride to just roll over. Trinity came out way too overconfident. Now they are in danger of blowing the game. Beatty has to be beside himself.

I look for next years game to be very close, with X having a slight edge. After that, with Trinity’s Best group of freshman in years coming up look out. If Trinity brings in another group of freshman like this years group, Katy bar the door.

Looks like 15 out of the last 16 games for Trinity. The game has lost much of its luster. With what Trinity has coming up, i don’t see things changing anytime soon.

Cards83, all time record between the 2 schools,44-37-2 in favor of trinity. 14 out of the last 15 games, and 17 out of the last 20 games. The balance of power Has definitely tipped in Trinity’s favor.

Truthsayer, the type of games that worry me, is the year Saint Xavier beat Trinity 42-6 , then Trinity came back in the state final and beat Saint Xavier. No one thought Trinity had a chance to win that game. This years game, has a similar feel to it. I get the feeling not many people give Saint Xavier much of a chance to win this years as well. I get the feeling the Tiger players know something, no one else is willing to see.

Mr Garrett of Saint Xavier says they are ready to pound Trinity in next weeks finals.You Trinity players better get ready to strap it up. Saint Xavier means business this time around, they are determined to turn this rivalry back in Saint Xavier’s favor.

Many times when Saint Xavier and Trinity meet twice in a season, the team that lost during the regular season turns the table in the second game. I hope this is not one of those situations. Trinity will have their work cut out for them this time. Saint Xavier is so much improved since that first game. I look for a real dog fight. This one i pick with my heart, Trinity wins 35-27

You can not make all those mistakes that Scott County made during this game, and expect to beat a great team like Saint Xavier.

I hate to say it, but this is the year Saint X beats Trinity in the playoffs, and goes on to win the state 6A championship. Trinity continues to win big, but is not playing any where near their capability.

It looks as though Saint Xavier and Trinity are destined to meet in these playoffs. Trinity better not think they will see a repeat of the regular season game. These tigers are hitting on all cylinders right now. I see an upset brewing over on poplar level road.

Is there anything more obvious, than, the Belfry mascot should be the Bats. As in bats in the belfry.

Pep rock, back in 1989 i believe, the Trinity school board voted to go Co-ed. The Archbishop was out of town when the vote was taken. He blew his stack. The girls schools were up in arms. Needless to say, they reversed their vote, And it has not been brought up since then that i know of.

These teams are so evenly matched. Both sidelines have two of the finest coaches around. I will say, DeSales prevails by 3.

You have to take advantage of any scoring opportunities a good team like Saint Xavier gives you. The score could easily be 13-7 PRP at this point in the 3rd quarter.
