  1. I hate stall ball I don’t believe taking your foot off the gas unless it’s a 20+ point blowout. I too support a shot clock. Also every HS player I know supports a shot clock. When will we as spectators start allowing these young men actually playing the game have a voice?
  2. That may or may not be the case. Only time will tell. So where do you feel Scotty should be ranked within the class of 2021?
  3. Actually he has never played a single game for MATTS Mustangs. He played AAU with Louisville Magic last summer.
  4. Actually he has never played a single game for MATTS Mustangs. He played AAU with Louisville Magic last summer.
  5. Just to make sure I was clear. I was referring to the rankings in the sophomore class of 2021. Most Rankings have him in the top 5 or 6 currently in the state. I believe we as spectators have become way to critical of size when kids are still growing at a rapid rate.
  6. Draud is a top 5 player in the KY class of 21. If it wasn't for the size of Trey James and athleticism of Harmon he would easily be top 2.
  7. Host team Warren East beats Muhlenberg County 63-58 in the championship game of the Warren East Holiday Classic.
  8. Muhlenberg advances to the championship game of the Warren County Christmas Classic after defeating Bardstown in OT. Muhlenberg County’s Nash Divine lead all scorers with 23 points. Muhlenberg will face Warren East Tomorrow night at 7pm.
  9. Muhlenberg Co. dealt Marion Co. thier second loss of the season late last night at the Warren East holiday tournament. When I say late, the kids literally took the floor at 8:54 for the opening tip. Muhlenberg went in at the half with the 25-23 lead. Divine had 12 to lead the Mustangs offense into halftime. In the second Marion Co. denied Divine the ball only for sophomores Carver and Rose to take the Mustangs home. The freshman Lovell made all the plays that don’t show up on the stat sheet. Coach Eades seems to be finding the right recipe for success with a very young team lead by freshman and sophomores.
  10. Bowling Green is going to be scary good the next 2 years. If Mason continues to improve at the current rate he will be a handful for anyone. The big sophomore Jordan Dingle will be the difference maker down the stretch. Dingle, like his brother, is primarily a football kid, however brings a huge frame with length that should start getting real attention on the hardwood.
  11. I couldn't agree more with what you said about OC. The pace of play and Riley's ability to keep fresh legs on the floor is late season form early.
  12. Muhlenberg should still be in the 3 slot. With the upset season opener over Marshall county, regional win over Grayson county at Grayson Co. and the only 2 losses against a very big/lengthy Madisonville North Hopkins and an OT loss against Caldwell I cant agree with the logic of dropping 3 spots. Muhlenberg is starting 2 sophomores and the first 2 kids off the bench are freshman the upside is just that, up.
  13. Muhlenberg is off to a great start. 2-1 Tuesday 11/27 Muhlenberg Co. hosted Marshall Co. Both teams started really slow as it was apparent it was season openers. Marshall Co. led at the half however Muhlenberg was able to find some spark and took the W 53-48 Thursday 11/29 Muhlenberg Co. traveled to Grayson Co. It was a defensive cat and mouse game for both teams most the night. Muhlenberg Co. left with the W after a last second inbounds play led to a layup to put Muhlenberg Co. up 47-45. Saturday 12/1 Muhlenberg Co. hosted a very big and lengthy Madisonville North Hopkins. N. Hopkins shot lights out from behind the arc and there size proved to much for the Mustangs. Madisonville North Hopkins with the 73-58 win Coach Eades appears to have a very young Mustangs team heading in the right direction.
  14. Henderson lost Kale Gaither who ran point all season as a freshman. That's going to sting.
  15. If Hunter McNaughten (sp?) could/would utilize his size and play with his back towards the basket they could be a problem for a lot of teams
  16. Steve Sparks has excepted a position on head coach Kyle Eades staff. Steve will bring a ton of experience to a young but very talented staff and players.
  17. Their 2020 class is loaded. If they can produce a quality backcourt to feed that BIG frontcourt they could be trouble for a lot of teams.
  18. Jun 7th Muhlenberg Co. picked up 2 wins, over Apollo 69-35 and Russellville 66-58. Sophomore Nash Divine poured in 34 against Apollo and 20 against Russellville. All 3 schools missing key players due to Baseball state tourney and Foosball.
  19. Your statement about diversifying offensively sums up UHA's shortcomings. Partially due to the fact the athleticism traditionally carries them through the regular season, district, and region. However at state traditional fundamental basketball accompanied with talent wins the ship.
  20. Build off the young talent, and there is plenty of it.
  21. Fort Campbell Snipers are playing in the Adidas Silver Gauntlet as well
  22. I think Starz United are an Adidas Silver Gauntlet team now
