Give credit to Bracken for not giving up after being down 14-2. They played with more energy for most of the game. Campbell looked shell-shocked at times. Russell is 3-0 in regional finals.

If Hinson played a tougher regular season schedule they maybe could have had a better run. His weak schedule hurt his team in post season (2 wins vs St. Patrick, Harrison Co).

#15 Brady Jones played poorly in all 4 post season games. He didn't play with a chip on his shoulder and it cost Bracken County the 39th District Championship. If he showed up tonight and played aggressively Bracken probably beats Campbell.

Most regions don't have the luxury of a Marshall County, Henry County, Mason County, Pulaski County, etc. so the next best option is the local university (Murray State, Morehead State, EKU, WKU, NKU) or a community arena (Expo Center, The Arena). Every region is different and "there is more than one way to skin a coon."

Scott is playing with house money (37th District Runner-Up) and also playing without fear. They are hungry to get to their third 10th Region championship game (2013 & 2015) and get over the hump (Pun intended) vs Campbell County.

Every team gets better except Bracken, Campbell, Scott and Paris but all 4 of those teams are usually always good. Bourbon, Nicholas and Augusta stay the same. The rest improve in some way....Montgomery gets way better. Brossart gets way better. Robertson and Harrison gets way better. Clark gets way better. Mason loses one starter. Pendleton loses one starter. Campbell loses 3 starters. Bracken loses 3 starters. Scott loses 2 starters. Paris loses 2 starters.

They also drew the worst team in the district tournament too. They would have probably lost to Mason Co or Augusta first round of districts if they dodged the green pill.

Perkins can't score...If he was more of an offensive threat Mason Co could be team to beat next season.
