Congrats to a great young man from an outstanding family. Kid can flat out ball. Andrew held almost 30 D1 offers...enough said.

Decimated with losses from last year's team. They will be athletic. Skill positions are never an issue at JH. Sounds like a broken record but this year Witherspoon will have to be special for them. The transfer QB from last year bailed JH out as they didn't have a good option for the position going into the season. This year Witherspoon is at least slotted to play some QB. With Witherspoon, Livers and Ryneheimer in the backfield they will be solid there. Depth and quite honestly talent on the defensive side of the ball will determine the season for the Dogs I think. They should get out of district play....after that it's anyone's guess.

North will absolutely still be athletic and talented. It's also a military community so you never know if there is a military transfer arriving until school starts tomorrow...same same for John Hardin as it pertains to transfers. I don't think North has a go to guy on this team though. I think it's gonna be between AC and John, but hey I thought the same thing last year.....Top 5 or 6: John Hardin Adair Etown Larue TC

McFarlane is gone already...Central won't be bad at all....and of course somebody is gonna have to beat them in there gym to get to regionals because no one in the 17th has enough balls to recommend having the tourney somewhere else

CJ's size won't be an issue as weight goes in college. The S&C staff will take care of that. CJ's issue as with most of our KY kids is can they guard the position that they play. If he can do that he'll be fine. He can score with the best of them....good luck to him and congrats to him and his family

I hope it finishes in this order...lol. Etown will be tougher this year, their top 4 kids have been starting since sophomore year. I'm hearing Larue will have a major transfer in and also that the kid from Hart might be heading to TC. A lot of rumors but you know how it goes in the 5th though.

Alot of kids with D1 talent don't go on to play D1 ball. That's antiquated thinking to say they will find you. You gotta play in front of Coaches....there are plenty of guards like Jalen in this country and abroad, he needs exposure and he'll get it at Aspire.

Great move for Jalen. Didn't get the exposure he deserved during AAU season. This will allow him to play in front of coaches and showcase his talents even more.

Collins can shoot lights out. They play a tough style to defend. But man I saw Cobe a couple of times this summer and he is on par to light the region up this year. Should be a lot of fun in the region

Alot of recruiting is about timing. Adam caught fire at the right time and earned every scholly he's received. Couple that with the return of Romeo to the lineup and there will be a dip in stats. If the offense is not run through you or your position, then you won't have the stats like some other kids.

Adam Kunkel is trending up...he is playing outstanding basketball. He is probably the best player in the state right now if I had to guess. I'm sure he will get plenty of more offers soon.

It's a subjective list...any number of kids could be on this list. Jalen Johnson, Jay Scruggs, Cobe Penny, Mickey Pearson, Skyler Potter and so on and so on.

Kunk is on fire. He is playing with a ton of confidence right now. Kid works his tail off....congrats

Malik is one of the top 5 kids in the region. Witherspoon like with more offensive skills.

Can you defend your position? If you can't you'll probably be a situational player in college.

In my humble opinion....not enough. Zion won a state title last year, anything less than being able to compete for a state title is puzzling. Although high school ball doesn't mean much in the development phase of elite players; these kids still are competitors and they like to win. Gotta be a big name kid out there somewhere joining him at AC. Melton and Payne only puts them near the top of an already watered down and weaker region.

I don't think they're done. It would be hard to believe Zion would come to AC by himself. The Ensworth kid may be in the way also. AC lost quite a bit from last year so reinforcements are needed. Also hearing Melton might not play his senior year
