  1. I think for a big game, it's the best game atmosphere. The historic gym, with the old school band/cheerleaders makes for a great environment. I'm team band.
  2. Somerset is sim. to Boyle where it's a Basketball Last school. Football and Baseball are the priorities, but they have been able to turn the culture. 18 wins per season in the last four years, and the community is jamming the games out. Great crowd last night, and I think it rattled the Rebels some. Tough place to play.
  3. He came to mind. And, before that Hagen Tyler. They looked disinterested last night.
  4. Kole Grundy had a big night in his return too. His defensive size/activity and secondary scoring is huge for SHS.
  5. I think based on what I seen Webb's from Boyle was more severe. Lewis should be fine.
  6. The Jumpers have played 7 games in 11 days, and finished that stretch 6-1. Josh Lewis went out early tonight, and Hagen Webb did as well in 3rd Quarter. But like Carl said, this one was in control from the outset. The Briar Patch was rocking tonight for homecoming.
  7. Really love Domidion game. He's a competitor, and will only improve.
  8. Kole Grundy being out the last 2 games has allowed some younger kids to play. Could be a silver lining to try and build some depth on a slim bench. Jones is one of the more improved guys in the region. Never saw the floor in MS ball.
  9. Been really impressed with his development at the PG spot with Edwards out. He plays super hard.
  10. Kole Grundy out with illness tonight for the Jumpers. Dampers the game some, as he is the best defender for the Jumpers and solid 2nd scorer.
  11. For sure, when you play the gauntlet they play you will have some off nights as well.
  12. Since Jan. Somerset has won @ Rock, DCA, Pulaski and Southwestern last night. This one would will probably be the toughest considering a back to back outside of winning @ DCA.
  13. Two teams with limited depth too. Pretty impressive with what these teams have done playing 6-7 guys. #24 Rylan Morgan has really impressed me. He was the key last night in their success. Really good slasher and finisher.
  14. Good omen? I expect a tight affair.
  15. Garrard at Lincoln IMO game of the week (because of seeding implications). I think Lincoln has won 20some in a row. Great opportunity to break another streak for the Golden Lions, but will not be easy at Lincoln Co.
  16. Somerset officially has locked up the #1 seed in the 47th district as of 12:00 today. The final RPI margin was SHS .61043 and Pulaski Co. .60008. It will be Somerset at Casey Co. and Pulaski Co. vs.. Rockcastle Co. in the Semifinals in a few weeks.
  17. Fascinating to look back at Scoreboard, and Pulaski has won 39 out 41 meetings against Rock. I would’ve never guessed with how hotly contested those games typically are.
  18. This game had it all. 45th has been pure theatre all week.
  19. And Walker Craig can give you 30 quickly.
  20. Yeah, those were the two I was talking about. I haven't got to watch them live yet.
  21. That's a big time win for GC! Danville has had some gut punch losses this season.
  22. I would agree with 4 of these teams. Although, I do think the gap is closer this season to DCA. The other teams have to proof they can get that done. Outside, looking in I think Boyle presents the biggest challenge with their size and athletes. Super competitive district tournament, that will be fun to watch!
  23. I think Kole has the potential to make the big league one day. Special bat and pitcher!
