  1. Final, at Collins HS. Nice win for the Titans, who were missing three starters.
  2. Nasean Roseberry is the top returning target (700+ yds in 2016). I sat and watched Lucas' 2016 highlights again. Kid has never seen a deep throw he doesn't love! Well with a few minutes of watching. J.R. Lucas Junior season highlights - J.R. Lucas highlights - Hudl
  3. Collins QB JR Lucas led the state in passing yards and passing TD's in the regular season as a junior in 2016. Should be in the mix for 4A player of the year, IMO.
  4. The Titans did not disappoint. Cam Harris set school records with 4 picks in one game and 7 on the season. JR Lucas threw his 40th TD pass of the season, breaking Branden Cresap's record of 39. Zach Stucker was HUGE on both sides of the ball. Titans will go to Shelby next week.
  5. Titan JR Lucas led the state of KY in passing yards and TD passes (tie) in the regular season. WR Dalton Maggard led 4A in receiving yards (by a wide margin) and TD receptions. Payton Hawk was 3rd in 4A in receiving YPG and Nasean Roseberry was just outside the Top 10. The Titan defense has shown growth in recent weeks. These two schools have great playoff history despite Collins only being in existence for 7 years.
  6. Nice effort by the Titan defense, holding Anderson to 134 on the ground, with 46 of that coming on a long run near the end of the game. Zach Smith seemed to have his name called all night on D. Payton Hawk led the way on offense with 5 rec for 130 yds (3 TDs).
  7. Lucas threw for 460 (school record) and 5 TDs. Hawk had 180 yards rec, Roseberry 176, and Maggard 104. They had 1,3, and 1 TD respectively. Eades led the defense with 17 tackles. Jacob Phillips returned another onside kick for a TD.
  8. The Titans did not disappoint. JR Lucas set the school record with 460 yds passing and added 5 TD passes. The Titans had three receivers over 100 yds. The defense held NO to 91 yds rushing.
  9. Titans need a win to keep their district title hopes alive. They come into the game with one of the top passing attacks in Kentucky.
  10. Nick Eades - LB - Collins. 102 tackles (40 solo) through 6 games.
  11. I'm a Titan homer, so I can only speak intelligently about Collins. But, I think you can make a good case to have JR Lucas on the list. 1621 yards and 23 TD passes through 6 games. Leads the team in rushing with 564 yards and 5 TD's. Collins plays a tough non-district schedule and competes in one of the toughest districts in 4A. The Titans also love to throw deep. 10 TD tosses of 30 yards or more.
  12. Dalton Maggard - Collins. 673 yards and 12 TD's through 6 games. Can score from anywhere on the field. Superior route runner.
  13. I hope people on this forum don't take BB14 to be a Titan homer. Whether they should or not, kids can read these forums. Everyone has the right to be critical ("really bad" or "CHHS this Friday will be ugly"). Just don't want anyone thinking a Titan homer would be speaking this way on a message board we know kids can read. For the record, according to social media, Dalton Maggard set a school record with 215 yards receiving. JR Lucas had 328 yards passing and 4 TDs. Nasean Roseberry had 121 yards on the ground, plus a score.
