We'll disagree on that, to the fans (most) faster does mean more entertaining! And they don't want to go and watch a team take a minute to get a shot off agains a zone or hold the ball with 4 minutes left in the game and a 6-7 pt lead!

Different economic factors have hurt, 5 days instead of 4 have probably discouraged a lot of people from going because they can't stay for the whole tournament I'd say has hurt.
