I know it is an echo chamber but I love the enthusiasm in the Bengals' War Room after these selections are announced.

With the 97th pick the Bengals selected McKinnley Jackson, a 6' 1/2" 326 pound DT. From NFL.com: Squatty interior defender who felt somewhat miscast as a 0-technique nose over the center. Jackson is explosive off the snap with the ability to get into blockers quickly or to attack their edges as a penetrator. He tends to ride on blocks once they land squarely and needs to develop his hands for better counters as both a run defender and a rusher. Jackson plays with good strength, but he's more gradual than twitchy in his battles. He might be more consistently effective at a lighter weight and as a rotational nose in a one-gapping even front.

The Bengals selected Jermaine Burton, WR Alabama in Round 3 - Pick 16 (80) From NFL.com: Burton was a player who was in my initial top 100 list but fell out after some teams indicated that he might need time to learn how to be a pro. But the traits and skill are there to be a surprise performer for a Bengals team that might have to move on from Tee Higgins eventually. Did I just hear that right, the Ravens posse (kids I might add) introducing the pick all just said "the Steelers suck" before announcing the Ravens pick? That is so trashy for the Ravens, the NFL, National TV. What is next? The person introducing the Steelers next pick has every right to bash the Ravens on national TV now, right.

He is not small by any means but I see a lot of potential with that frame. And I asked Google about NFL DTs: Defensive Linemen: The average weight of defensive linemen in the NFL is about 314.16 pounds [2]. Linebacker: The average weight of an NFL linebacker is approximately 244.64 pounds [2]. Defensive Back (Corner): The average weight of a defensive back in the NFL is around 200.10 pounds [2].

I can definitely see that. Once a QB panics he should be great at shedding the OL and pursuing.

He looks pretty good to me other than being a little undersized. I like how he moves, he is clearly a gifted athlete. I would like to see about 15 more pounds of muscle on him. Who Dey!

Possesses legitimate spin counter to bolster his rush plan as a pro. Missing the ideal frame and girth for an NFL starter inside. Not nearly enough anchor to withstand a pro double-team regularly. Inconsistent contact balance during lateral block engagements. Average hand pop to knock pass blocker off his base. Will struggle to create adequate pocket push as bull rusher.

Congrats Coach Jones! From reading this you sound like a great man and I wish you nothing but success.

Boyle County is everyone's Achilles heel so that is a given. I don't know the answer here so this is for anyone, assuming Boyle, Corbin, and Tilghman all keep winning is there any chance that either Boyle or Corbin could play Tilghman before playing each other?
