Those are questions that anyone that knows the game would ask as well and we all would like to know the answer!

You said it Lawnboy 13. This game was close up till last few minutes. Turnovers and HC coach not having Barnes or Meinze on the floor toward the end, Houston couldnt defend the paint all alone. Cooper went to the basket with almost no resistance at that point and opened up the lead quickly. We were in the game till then. Indians played hard, glad I was sitting court side to watch. Congratulations to the jags.

If they don't believe they have a chance, then they shouldn't be there at all. You are already beat if you don't believe you can win. And you definately don't show the kids that you don't believe!

Thers were years when CCH's probability of making it to regionals wasnt good either. But they still had a 50% chance they could. I don't think most expected HC to make it last year, but they did. When you have three teams that are real close in strength, and one out front, probability is the front runner is going to regional and who ever they play in first round is going home. That leaves two alike strength teams to play each other. One is going to regionals other is going home. That people is a 50% chance for HC and beechwood. They all had that fifty percent chance, the one who drew Cov Cath had a low probabity of getting the win. Once again, probabilities and percentages are two different things. And no I don't think that staff should be fired for not making it 50% of the time. But if your Win loss record is less than 50% more times then not, it may be time for a change

Probabilities and percentage are two different things. In the recent past the probability of HC or beechwood making it to the regionals was slim. But the fact remains that 50% of the teams in this district are going to regionals, so how is my math wrong?

Nonsense huh? Then why do so many people agree with me? Do I push it more then anyone else? Yes because I have nothing to lose, where others do. I'm sure that will change when the season is over! I have not said anything that is not true. Some of it may be opinion, but it is also opinion of many others as well. Most is fact, all you have to do is watch the game.

The season record reflects way more on a coach than winning one district game. No one can argue that.

In a four school district, you have a 50% chance at going to regionals before the season even starts. In the past, Holmes has usually had a better team than the past two years, so HC would wind up playing either the number one or number two seed, ( who were most of the time since mid nineties much better teams) first in the district's. As in past two years, not much difference in 2,3,4, seeds come district time. So 50% chance still that your going to regionals. And we barely made it this year in case you didn't see the Beechwood game.

Best group Schrand put on the floor came early in the fourth. Add houston in the mix and you have something. Nolan Schrand scoreless and only five in Thursdays game. How many did he have against Cov Cath first time they met? 5 I beleive. Yet in these games he still played more minutes than anyone. No threat to score, why not try something else? HC gets out rebounded every game. With Meinze on the floor with Barnes and Houston, that doesn't happen. Schrand never learned a thing this season about his team. Didn't take long to figure him out though.

Could be Meinze's high especially since he don't see the floor very much. All 7 of those points came in 5 minutes. Also had 2 maybe three rebounds.

Not that big of an accomplishment considering you only have to win one game to get there.

To the boys at HC. I will not be there to cheer you on. I will see video later though. play hard, play your best, play like it's the last game you will ever play. For some of you it may be, unless you win this first game and move on. Good luck

After watching the game against HC, I'd have to say this could very well come true

2 free throws. Hard to get fouled when your passing the ball around 5 ft outside the perimeter and don't go to the rim.
