  1. Exactly what is it telling? That I along with others believe this group of individuals are idiots because of the way they are going about this?
  2. If that is what they think it stands for, then by all means go live somewhere else that has a flag they believe in. That flag does not represent the bad police in this country.
  3. Your the one who isn't hearing what some of us are saying. And you still didn't answer my question. Why did these people choose to protest by kneeling during the national anthem? Again protesting something that had nothing to do with the anthem or the job they are there to do. If you read my post I have stated I have no problem with protest. I believe they have a legit cause, but go do it in front of a police station where the rest of the world then would know what your trying to say
  4. Well I have 7 family members that all served or are still serving and not a one of them will tell you they fought for some idiot to kneel and protest something that had nothing to do with the flag or the military during the playing of the national anthem. I have had this discussion with every one of them.
  5. I'll answer that question. The teachers were protesting something that affects their JOB. Players protesting something that has nothing to do with their job, but doing it while at their JOB. Two totally different scenarios. If they want to protest police brutality and Injustice then go do it in front of the police station. Your didn't see the teachers protesting at a NFL game did you? The teachers didn't protest about something at school that had nothing to do with school or their job. They went to the source to protest and that is what should be done.
  6. Just like said above- there is a time and place to protest. During the national anthem is not it.
  7. While I don't see anything agressive, angry, or confrontational in the speech, I do see it not exactly appropriate for a graduation ceremony. Parts of it would be ok but not all of it. More of a speech that would be at a rally or protest somewhere. JMO
  8. They fought so he could voice his opinion. This is true. I GARUNTEE they didn't fight for him or anyone to kneel during the national anthem.
  9. No I do not think they are protesting the military. I asked a question which you did not answer. When you refuse to stand for the playing of the national anthem, you are disrespecting the flag and what it stands for. So why would someone choose to protest during the national anthem? Protest are held all the time at different locations around the country that don't include the national anthem.
  10. You say it was never about the flag or the military. Then why do they kneel during the playing of the national anthem?
  11. Just saying- most guns used in intentional premeditated shootings don't belong to the user. At least not on paper. Too many guns available without buying new for background checks and anything else to help. It's the person not the weapon. If a person can't get a gun, they will use whatever they can if they are hell bent on killing someone.
  12. I still think one of the problems with kids and young adults is that they are shielded too much from the realism of society as they grow up. Then when a situation happens that requires them to deal with it, they don't know how and they snap.
  13. Thanks for the info. Being we got rid of cable, watch a lot of Netflix. Need something to watch till New episodes of The Ranch, and Shameless come out.
  14. People don't have a sense of humor any more. A good prank , as long as no one gets hurt, is a good thing. The funnier the better for sure.
  15. I voted something else. I can hear both.
  16. Even though the cages around the tanks were put in place, fire could still happen in certain instances. This is one of the reasons they have done away with gas power in school buses. Diesel fuel does not explode or burn nearly as fast as gasoline.
  17. Just asking, does it not create a danger or even create a chance of a serious injury to someone in those cars if the guy on the bike is going between cars at a high rate of speed? It doesn't say you have to cause injury, it says you intentionally cause a situation where serious injury or death "could" result. So how do you have a victim if you created a situation where something"could" happen? Not arguing with you just asking what I think is a valid point.
  18. Failure to control is an Ohio thing. It is absolutely one of the worst laws there is. You can get this charge for just about anything in Ohio if you admit you were not in total control of what your were doing with your vehicle. Seen it givin for motorcycle Rider going between two cars on Colombia parkway and one came over a little bit and it caused him to try and move over and he almost hit the other car. Officer not far behind saw this happen as did I. I worked with guy on bike. 5th degree misdemeanor.
  19. 3k for a ring? Just kidding. Glad it worked out for you. I know at some l point I will have to get on board with the cashless thing. I like cash. Keeps certain People out of all of my business. No cash, all cards or electronic transactions means anyone can track everything you do. I don't like that at all.
  20. I meant to say could not should. I didn't see I put the wrong word there. Wanton Endangerment Law and Legal Definition. ... (1) A person is guilty of wanton endangerment in the first degree when, under circumstances manifesting extreme indifference to the value of human life, he wantonly engages in conduct which creates a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to another person. Wanton Endangerment Law and Legal Definition | USLegal, Inc. I know of two people personally who were charged with and arrested for wanton endangerment for passing cars in between them and passing on the emergency lane. One was in a car the other was on a motorcycle. Both paid hefty fines and served some days in jail.
  21. It would fall under reckless driving, wanton endangerment, failing to control, or other laws that also apply to cars. Don't have to specify it for bikes as they have to follow same rules as cars.
  22. It could be $100 car it might be a $2000 car. Never know .Tractor, riding mower, trailers, guns, tools, construction equipment just never know what your gonna see for sale that you just can't live without it. Actually if I buy it it's just to resell and make a profit. Guess there aren't that many of us around any more. And I regularly carry 2-4000 around with me. I also carry a weapon to deter anyone from thinking about taking it from me.
  23. Do they have a picture of you driving that car when it was speeding? Or just a pic of the car itself that does not show the driver? No pic of the driver and no one can prove it was you driving. Got out of one just like this in Ohio few years back.
