Was a Heck of a game! Paintsville controlled the tempo through the first half but I felt they got a little complacent and The Rams capatlized and about made em pay for it! This rematch did not disappoint!! Great game Raceland! Their boys gave it everything!! That's how you want to walk away from your last game even though the end result wasn't what you hoped for. I don't think any Rams player should have any "maybe I coulda" thoughts! HARD FOUGHT GAME!! This has turned into a good district Rivalry!

Beechwood is a good little team but not in the class with these 2! Beechwood makes it to the Finals maybe if the get past Russellville but that's it! The winner of this game wins 1A state!

Sounds like Beechwood not getting tested at all until the semi finals! Beechwood/Russellville game appears it may be a good one!

Down to 1 day until Regions!! The atmosphere tomorrow night is gonna be electric! I look for both these teams to play at a much higher level tomorrow night! It's gonna be GOOD!!

This part of the season is extremely tough for games such as these. 1 of these great teams season will end In 2 days and I guarantee not 1 kid on either team is expecting it to be theirs! Makes it especially tough on the seniors! Lay it all out on the field boys!

Ashland's O line HAS to STEP UP in this one and give Rattliff some time to work! The young QB has great talent but it doesn't matter how Good a teams QB is if their constantly getting pressured! Protect the QB and keep turnovers to a minimum and Ashland MIGHT be able to stay close! Just an awful BIG job to handle against JC! The Eagles have really stepped it up a level this year!

You are correct. Paintsville leads 1A defensively not Offensively. Yes the injury bug has derailed many good teams. Hopefully we can all get through the playoffs without any of our teams getting bit by it. Something I don't wish any team to have that to deal with.

Again my bad! I should have worded it as more balanced as in "on both sides of the ball"! But your right! In Regulation KP ran for 1 TD vs Raceland in matchup 1 and D Mo threw for 2 TD's! There's no argument that Davidson had the hardest nights of the season being able to pass against the Tigers Defense! Again that's not gloating that's fact! As per Raceland fans ( it was snap the ball and run for his life) Paintsvilles Defense has been smothering this year and their Offense which is Ranked 1st in state in Class 1A has proven VERY hard to stop! Raceland did a very fine job against it last game though! Davidson IS one of the top few QB's in 1A No doubt! He can run and throw and do both extremely well! If he has time! Will he have time this game? He may, however Last time he did not! Just stating what's been seen. I apologize if it still comes across as "gloating"! No wonder this will be WYMT game of the week! 2 strong 1A contenders! It would be a lot easier road to BG had we played our way in the west bracket however this east bracket should prepare the team that makes it to BG quite well! If everyone stays healthy!!!

No gloating coming from this direction, you must have taken it the wrong way! Why are Raceland fans so easily offended this week? Your typically a good bunch to go back and forth with! My apology was my mistake for assuming the poster had a dog in the fight which not caring who wins or loses this game they obviously do not! Really though Sideline lighten up! We've got the 2 TOP 1A teams going to battle Friday night at Memorial Field! Just because I believe my team is a more balanced team and will take the win does not constitute "gloating". As A fan I would hope you would feel the same about your Rams!

Seems orange fans don't want to admit past only amp up what their GONNA DO! I already know what their gonna do! They had their best shot a month ago! Can they overcome worse odds when they couldn't pull it out with solid odds the first time? Sure they can! Not saying it's impossible just saying the same thing your fans say! They will have to play the best game of their season to do it and to win state they would have to do it 2 more times!

For sure gonna be more exciting than the first two rounds. Raceland is gonna come out wanting it! Just have to see if their able to TAKE it from a Hungry Paintsville team!

It will make it VERY interesting to see if Charles is used all 4qt's to run the ball how it affects Pikeville's performance on defense!

That's Russellville Beechwood game will finally be a good competitive game out of the west! Looking forward to seeing how that matchup shakes out!

It appears Russellville/Bethlehem is a lopsided matchup for their Regional Chamiponship and from the comments, most believe the same for the Beechwood/KCD game! Western part of the states Regional Finals don't appear to be very strong matchups! The east is set up with Not 1 but 2 very competative Regional final games! The Defending 1A state Champs, Pikeville taking on A VERY good Hazard team and #1 Ranked, undefeated Paintsville taking on a very talented Raceland Team! Is the competition in the west declining apart from one or maybe 2 programs? Is the East getting stronger as a whole? What's your thoughts?
