What's the current difference in 1A East and 1A West?

It appears Russellville/Bethlehem is a lopsided matchup for their Regional Chamiponship and from the comments, most believe the same for the Beechwood/KCD game!

 

Western part of the states Regional Finals don't appear to be very strong matchups! The east is set up with Not 1 but 2 very competative Regional final games! The Defending 1A state Champs, Pikeville taking on A VERY good Hazard team and #1 Ranked, undefeated Paintsville taking on a very talented Raceland Team! Is the competition in the west declining apart from one or maybe 2 programs? Is the East getting stronger as a whole? What's your thoughts?

East is trending up, the west has never been heavy with good teams. Their Beechwood and Russellville and thats really it. Right now, the entire eastern bracket has legit title contenders. Seeing any of them in BG will not suprise me. If the western rep isnt BW or Rville, I'll pick numbers off of the team that is and play them in the dang lottery!

That's Russellville Beechwood game will finally be a good competitive game out of the west! Looking forward to seeing how that matchup shakes out!

I think BW is flying under the Radar by their standards. They are young, but as always, EXTREMELY well coached.
