final

Hell of a game..

Great game by 2 great teams.

Congrats Paintsville on the win and Raceland on a great game.

Both teams left it on the field.....

Heartbreaking loss to take for the 16 Ram seniors.

Congrats to Paintsville, your team deserved the win, stepping up to make a play at the end.

Both teams left it on the field.....

Yes they did. That's what h.s. football is all about. Both games between these two came down to the last play.

Walker was wide open if he rolled to the right on that last play..

Tremendous effort / comeback /by a very good Rams team

Raceland lost 3 games this season, two to Paintsville and the other to Russell with all three were decided on the final play.

Good luck to Paintsville next week vs. Hazard

Another tough ending to a season for the Rams. They just can't get over the hump. I really thought this team was going to do it.

Congrats to Paintsville on the win. You've played steady as a great team all season long. Good luck to both Paintsville/Hazard next Friday. Whoever comes out on top will rep the East with class. Truly believe whoever moves on will be the 1-A champ. You got my support 100%.

Was a Heck of a game! Paintsville controlled the tempo through the first half but I felt they got a little complacent and The Rams capatlized and about made em pay for it! This rematch did not disappoint!! Great game Raceland! Their boys gave it everything!! That's how you want to walk away from your last game even though the end result wasn't what you hoped for. I don't think any Rams player should have any "maybe I coulda" thoughts! HARD FOUGHT GAME!! This has turned into a good district Rivalry!

I'd say it's the best rivalry in 1A at the moment.

Best of luck to Paintsville next week and hopefully, the week after that.

As for Raceland, you guys had a fantastic season. You had three losses against two top notch opponents by a combined 14 points. I know it hurts right now, but you just have to shrug it off and get back in the weight room ASAP and start grinding toward 2017. The ultimate prize is still out there, waiting for you to reach out and take it.
