Hopefully 7 has a better Final than last year. Team they played @ WKU had 33 draped all over him. 65 yds Total O. Seems like that’s the book on him.

CAL by 3-4 scores on turf as last year. Slow, trudging, tiring running with high grass and several slips due to giving way as seen on Periscope. Fantastic atmosphere though. Like "true" southern football.

Play Manual?? Would be a “true” measuring stick!!

FYI... Raymont RB and Braxton WR (2 of aforementioned Team KY kids) didnt play vs X. Varsity duties. Score not reflective. I'm assuming.

FYI...Manual has 3 freshmen from Team KY that went to to National QF last year as well as Newburg's (won D1 MS Title) arguably best player. No shame in that L. Good squad. Probably give Wynton and T's Frosh a run for their money.

How is it that DeSales is # 150 and CAL is # 153?? We had 39 and DeSales 90+ on roster. And DeSales is all male enrolment. I know for a fact we are less than 130 boys in 6th and 7th grade as we are D3 in MS. Just trying to figure how THEY figure it.

FYI, The "90+" kids is because they're actually 4A. All boys school with 600ish boys. KHSAA are boneheads for not making the distinction. We have 200ish.

Colts ought to focus schemes on someone other than CAL. Look forward to hosting the Cardinals next year!!!

6th grade runner up to Meece last year @ KBA. Beat Lincoln Co in SF. JCPS only has 7/8 teams. Looking for more games.

Update that score please tomorrow. We've got some room in our 7th grade schedule. Beat Lincoln Co in semis last year. They had 2 studs!! PM if wanna play!!

Granted. But... Kind of a perfect storm. We let them play both levels due to how special the 7th graders were and their need on 8th grade squad. #36 had already played every play for 7 qtrs and #3 all time on D for 8th grade. Then #3 took a good shot and a little woozy, ref loses his mind, we lose game then both kids lost it. In retrospect not sure if 4 games in 2 days would have been tenable. But we tried. I shudder to think what would have happened had we won BG game. Both would have been in a heap and would have killed themselves trying to beat NP and we wouldn't have really had a legitimate shot. Got to give them credit for 24 games and their "never quit" attitude.

Have to say, would have loved for our twins to have played yours!! Definitely wouldn't have been 36-0!! Had won last 35 games and refs STOLE one against BG!! Everyone saw who was better team!! Maybe we will get y'all in basketball. This crew was runner up to Meece in 6th grade last year.

Unfortunate situation and learning experience to be sure (I have first hand knowledge). This team was unbeaten since 4th grade. BG was doing NOTHING to hurt us on offense @ all. We couldn't get going as 3 of our 7th graders had seen significant time VS Mayfield in the 8th SF win. The tailback twin finally gets going and even after several mystery hankies, under 3:00 to go gets a toss sweep down to the 3 for a 1st down (or we thought) but was flagged for SPEARING (ran over 3 kids and hit them with facemask/ shoulder). It was in the books then.....nope. Both he and his brother were ejected on the ensuing drive for violent (but legal) hits. The one and only pass play of 25 or so yards later plus 50 or so yards in flags gets them to our 7 with 1:00 to go. Punched it in. Then twins kinda lost it. Inexcusable but understandable. 24 games into season, refs just JOBBED US!! All video evidence on Prepspin. No comment from the association. Hats off to BG for being so "pesky" and hanging in there. The boys are really good straight A boys but the "white hat" and crew had just pushed them too far. Silly for adults to do. But I guess the bottom line is we let them do it to us... We will be back and better than ever!!

Where do these kids come from?? I mean, really?? Not fair by any stretch and frankly dangerous. Someone was looking down on us I guess when we were ROBBED in the SF game with BG. Should have been 6 or 8-0 alright but the other way. But I'm glad we didn't need to tussle with those NP guys. They were bigger than several Frosh teams we have played this year. Geez.
