I believe that person made the comment based on today's game...like the game needs to be over. I don't think they meant anything negative towards Newport or their players. I could be wrong, but that's how I interpreted the message.

Agree! This is all abour our kids, whether we lose or win. Since I'm an eagle parent, I am happy to see Scott won, but shout out to all the Newport players as well - playing in this heat and they didn't give up.

Just saw Scott High School is now ranked #5 in Northern Kentucky and #2 1 in the overall State of Kentucky. They are ranked #2 in 4A. Just saw this on Max Preps. GO EAGLES!!!

Scott played a great game and I give credit to both teams. All these kids played hard. This was the first time since 1987 Scott beat Dixie, so as an Eagle fan - I'm pumped and can't wait to see how much talent this eagle team has this year!
