  1. come on out to OC Pete, I'll get you in the booth. :-)
  2. Zuberer Owensboro Catholic High School vs. South Spencer High - RAY ZUBERER highlights Dukes Senior Year QB - Cameron Dukes highlights Both look good
  3. DeSales has a quality qb enrolling as a Freshman this coming year. Played youth league at Derby City who just won their League Championship over the Shively Seminols, Trey McCoy
  4. I don't know either kid but I'm going to take Ratliff because he has a great last name. :-)
  5. I was referring to the EAST/WEST game. You are correct that this is the 1990 list of all District. I also have some programs from the game my parents kept. Anthony "Money" Floyd for J-Town was really good also.
  6. I was going through some pics and found this. Great memories, and the game finished in a 7-7 Tie
  7. Do defensive players every get mentioned for this award or is it an Offense only award?
  8. good thing they don't go to St. X or Trinity, they would really be quitting left and right because of playing time.
  9. Then you have the Kids that are starters in the Freshman Game and Starter in the JV game but can't even dress Varsity because they have played 8 Quarters. They may not be good enough to beat out the Seniors or Juniors but they are definitely better than some of the subs and could start on kickoff or punt. So you get your playing time in those gamesand wait your turn, that's life. Suck it up buttercup enjoy the High School Experience!! :-)
  10. OK, here is my 2cents. FR-JR are allowed to play JV. FR can only play freshman ( unless you CAL and you start a Junior for Freshman game, but that's another story) and SR can only play Varsity. JV is where you develop your bench players for this year and your Starters for next year. If you're a STARTER on Friday night 99.9% of coaches will not let you play JV. Also, Oldham County started filming all 3 levels this year and I think it is awesome. They have them on Hudl also.
  11. Showing my age here but I was on the last Manual team to beat X. Great feeling!!! Manual is on a roll and at home, X has lost 2 out of the last 4. I'm taking the Rams. Maybe I'm bias but............
  12. I will have to try this after our freshman game tonight.
  13. I'm a little out dated here but, I do like to talk softball. :-) IN 2007-2008, I was coaching at Beth Haven, yeah, I know....WHO????? :-) our record was 22-12 (2007) & 16-18 (2008). Sounds kinda rough but when you look at the schedule I would say we had THE TOUGHEST in the state. Played Ballard, Meade Co, Allen County, Knoxville Web, TN, Christian Academy, PRP, Male, Presentation, Green County, Manual, Southern, Bryan Station, Holy Cross, Knoxville Catholic, TN, Tates Creek Sacred Heart, Reidland, Raceland, Boone County We had 4 girls make all-state and we were selected 2007 Class 1A Coaching Staff of the Year. I think that strength of schedule is VERY IMPORTANT!!!! We had 5 girls go on and play college softball. 2 more years and my daughter will be in high school and I can't wait!!!!
  14. I'm sure whats hurting some of the freshmen is playing time. The KHSAA enforced the new 8 quarter rule. So if a kid plays freshman (4 q) and JV (4q) they can not play Varsity. So do you keep a kid out a freshman game so they can get a couple plays of kickoff and punt? I'm sure there is a medical reason for this, just don't like it.
  15. So, most of the time all you see is offensive highlights. Here is a highlight for Jacob Ratliff, Freshman at OC. In 6 games (4 JV and 2 Freshman) he has 35 total tackles and 3 Forced Fumbles. http://www.hudl.com/athlete/3240361/highlights/283271382/v2 Some other players that were mentioned in this thread Milton Wright http://www.hudl.com/athlete/5223989/highlights Shawn'kel Knight-Goff http://www.hudl.com/athlete/2593453/highlights Jacobe Daughtery http://www.hudl.com/athlete/5583192/highlights Austin Carr http://www.hudl.com/athlete/5223990/highlights Love me some hudle
  16. This looks to be a good game Friday night. The JV game was a good game on Monday. South scored early and took a 6-0 lead into the 4th quarter. Including a GOAL LINE stand with 3 consecutive stops from the 1 yard line late in the 3rd. Shatzer has the OC sideline full this year. From what I'm told, there are more kids playing football this year than any of the previous years, at least the last 10. The Sophomore and Freshman classes are loaded with talents and will be in his system their years there so the future is looking bright for OC.
  17. I had the pleasure of coaching Tyler Richie(sophomore @ Male) during Youth League. Hes a good kid and a good player.
  18. Those players are good for CAL. That might explain why they use a Junior for their QB in Freshman games? Any other Louisville Teams? PRP - Rico Beard or Shamar Dunkley? They were beasts in Youth but havent heard how they are doing. Thad Maxwell at Trinity? Doss has an awesome Freshman that played for the Seminoles last year but can not remember his name
  19. Having coached youth league in Louisville before coming out to Oldham County to coach middle school I was wondering who are the top Freshman in the area? I know some kids can be absolute studs before they get to high school and then fall off. I've been searching HUDL for videos and have found a few but want other people's opinion. Remember, these are opinions, but I would like some video or stats to back your opinion up if you can.
  20. Love the plain blue and white of Oldham County
  21. We also use it at Oldham County, It keeps season and career totals also.
  22. I have a copy of the 1989 Manual Crimsons 13-1 team highlight film. Also have copies of a ton of Doss Youth League 2002-2007, Stuart Spartans from 2008-2011, Oldham County Middle School 2013-2014. Plus I have an all-time highlight film for the Louisville Bulls that ranges from 1989-2005. Love me some Videos!!!
